The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. AAPL will get slammed!!!!

AAPL closed @83.93

I doubt this stock is done going down. It's going to 75 or below. At least the Fast Money guys agree with me.

The charts are showing that's where AAPL is headed, but to 78 first.

There probably will be some type of countertrend rally after the morning selloff. If you don't have a position yet, i suggest you wait till the afternoon to short. The stock could rally back to $85 or so before the next leg down.

You can buy March near-the-money puts instead of the stock.

Good luck.

PCU looks like a great short here.

PCU closed @72.67

This stock has been on fire for 2 straight months! Today's bearish engulfing pattern should help consolidate the stock for at least a few days.

PCU is a copper play. I think the commodities are overbought and are due for a correction.

Alternative energy is the future!!!! Own some early!!!

SPWR closed @46.49

STP closed @39.53

ESLR closed @10.11

WWAT closed @ .52

I like SPWR and STP the most because they're making money and growing really fast.

ESLR is a speculative play because it's unprofitable but revenues growing fast. Out of the 4 listed, this is the most expensive to own.

WWAT is a penny stock that is growing really fast and is expected to be profitable this year, with revenues of about 35 million. Besides OPBL (recommended around $5), WWAT is the second penny stock i feel comfortable recommending to you. I believe WWAT is on its way to $2 by the end of the year. The stock broke out on huge volume last friday.

The alternative energy theme seems to me to be the next huge growth area that could drive the next huge bull market for the next 5 -10 years. You can already see it. The revenue growth is tremendous, growing at least 200% over last year for the 4 companies listed above. What appears to be happening is that there is a stealth bull market in the alternative energy stocks that many investors haven't noticed. Well, guess what? It will only get bigger.

Do yourselves a favor if you don't believe it. Just buy a little of each and put them away for a few years.

ICE is still a great long term play.

I own a core position and i daytrade this stock as well.

Longer term, i have no doubts it will see $300.

Meanwhile, this coming week, short ICE below 160 or go long above 164.

ICE didn't tank as i expected today while every thing else (including the exchanges) went down. ICE is a very strong stock, so i ain't gonna play from the short side if it breaks above 164 next week.

Good luck.

ICE smackdown comin your way!!!!!!!!!!

ICE closed@ 160.58

ICE is about to get slammed, tomorrow and next week. I have not a single doubt in my mind that a panic selloff is coming for ICE.

Also, i believe we are very near a market correction. On top of that, Cramer just recommended selling ICE this evening. http://www.thestreet.com/_yahoo/funds/lightninground/10340430.html?cm_ven=YAHOO&cm_cat=FREE&cm_ite=NA

These factors are sure to send ICE to 148; and with a market correction anticipated to kick in, the stock is headed to 125.

Short ICE!!!!

NYX going higher! AAPL going higher!

NYX closed @93.60
AAPL closed @89.20

AAPL should see $93 before any possible corrective move.

NYX should see $99-100 before any possible corrective move.

These two stocks were on fire today while many stocks on my screener were languishing. Tells ya something about them doesn't it?

AAPL broke out of $86 today, which was the trigger to go long (from previous day's post). I was gettin a little fancy (and greedy) this morning by trying to get a quick scalp shorting it at $87.50, hoping it would dip back to maybe $1. I didn't see the overall market that strong, and in fact it wasn't strong. Unfortunately, AAPL was very strong. AAPL has bottomed short term and is trending higher and i recommend you hold your long position.

NYX i have no doubt is going to $100 soon, and possibly to new highs if we don't get the much anticipated market correction.

AAPL about to be slammed???

AAPL closed @84.83

If 84 breaks, short it because this thing will see 70.

Go long above 86, go short below 84.

Could this MSFT announcement be the impetus for a correction?

If so, then we need to short tech.

Obviously, start with where the problem is: MSFT.

And then the direct beneficiaries of MSFT's Vista: NVDA (by the way, those who already own puts should be richly rewarded). NVDA hadn't impressed on their earnings report.

Also short BIDU because it's weak and it's going to 95 eventually.

CRM is overextended short term and hitting important resistance. Short that too. I believe CRM is now a great short.

Momentum stocks outside of tech should also get hit hard. Do you have the gonads to short ICE? Let me do it as it's not for the faint of heart.

That's a short list but seriously, do you really need to play that many stocks?

BIDU about to get smashed???

BIDU closed @ 115

BIDU announced earnings last night. Guidance not that impressive, which makes the stock even more overvalued.

I want you guys to play it the same way like we did with NVDA yesterday. If it seems like it's about to go negative, short the hell out of it. March near/in the money puts can also be bought.

The stock is also trending downwards for the short/intermediate term.

NVDA: short it once it goes negative!

NVDA closed @ 34

We have seen what happened to stocks like MA and NDAQ after earnings when they disappoint one way or another. Same with NVDA.

Pay attention and watch what happens to NVDA this morning. The best thing for the shorts is that the stock gaps up and proceeds to go negative. You then short it for a daytrade/swingtrade.

You can also purchase feb puts near/in the money. But play small with options, please.

Monday, February 12, 2007

We are immediate term oversold. But short term, we going down.

Let's see if we get a rally tomorrow morning to set up some (more) shorts. If no rally, well, you know what that means. lol

EBAY closed @ 32.80

BOT closed @ 168.32

ICE closed @ 143.57

The above stocks can be shorted. If they move higher, the better. Chop chop.

AAPL & NYX. The AAPL upgrade today kinda skewed up the charts. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Somehow, i get the feeling NYX will see 85 by Wednesday. We'll see.

Do yourselves a favor, buy 500 shares of EXEL and 100 shares of CRM and hold for a few years.

Both have the potential to become behemoths. I already believe that CRM will become one.

CRM closed @47.01

EXEL closed @10.70

NYX smackdown!!!

NYX closed @ 97.24

Today i'm hearing it got downgraded by Goldman Sachs to neutral.

lol

AAPL is going higher, AKAM is going lower.

AAPL closed @ 86.15

AKAM closed @ 56.95

Trend reversal, for the immediate term, for AAPL is confirmed. First stop is 87.50 and then 90.

AKAM - let's look for a morning rise before shorting. AKAM is due for a correction is my opinion. Kinda like what happened to GOOG.

Good luck.

Wednesday, February 07, 2007

Even though CSCO is higher premarket, the other tech are only gapping a little bit.

Unless we get a strong high volume market rally with stocks gaining huge, i still feel a correction is coming.

Hence, NYX and AAPL are still shorts for me on any rise. NYX is a definate short. AAPL, on the other hand, because of a decent reversal yesterday i'm gonna see what it does this morning.

good luck.

Sunday, February 04, 2007

I will start shorting NYX for awhile as long as it stays below $102.

NYX closed @ 99.50

Several factors lead me to believe NYX is headed lower in the short and intermediate term:

1) Earnings report missed expectations by 1 penny, when alot of investors thought they would blow away earnings.

2) Add that to the Cramer pumps which pretty much got everybody in the stock, you got a very expensive stock. NYX currently trades at 4 times the market cap of NDAQ, which has similar revenues/earnings/growth.

3) I find it lame that Cramer didn't comment on the earnings report on MadMoney except that he is more positive about the company because of the impending merger. But everybody already knew that, even before earnings came out.

4) Missing by 1 penny is gonna give the shorts alot more firepower now. They are already 17% short on the float. I believe they are the smart money. I am being told that the short interest has increased to something like 50% on Friday. If that is true, the shorts will definately win is my opinion.

5) There will be about 23 million shares, if i remember correctly, unlocked for selling sometime in March. That's alot of selling pressure, if the owners plan to sell.

I will be shorting NYX on all rises, as long as the stock stays below $102. I believe NYX has the potential to see 90, and possibly 80.

Good luck.

Tech wreck comin your way?? AAPL slammed!

AAPL closed @ 84.74

It is getting hit this morning on news the SEC is requesting additional documents regarding the options backdating. It's trading below 84 right now. We are looking for opportunity to short a rebound. AAPL is headed to 80-82 short term.

Also, i think the techs are going get hit very soon, if not today. Short tech on all rises.

good luck.

Thursday, February 01, 2007

AAPL had a nice reversal yesterday.

AAPL closed @ 85.75

The stock may have bottomed immediate term but it is not out of the woods yet. As such, i'm still shorting the stock on any rise. There are still alot of resistance upstairs.
