The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. I will start shorting NYX for awhile as long as it stays below $102.

NYX closed @ 99.50

Several factors lead me to believe NYX is headed lower in the short and intermediate term:

1) Earnings report missed expectations by 1 penny, when alot of investors thought they would blow away earnings.

2) Add that to the Cramer pumps which pretty much got everybody in the stock, you got a very expensive stock. NYX currently trades at 4 times the market cap of NDAQ, which has similar revenues/earnings/growth.

3) I find it lame that Cramer didn't comment on the earnings report on MadMoney except that he is more positive about the company because of the impending merger. But everybody already knew that, even before earnings came out.

4) Missing by 1 penny is gonna give the shorts alot more firepower now. They are already 17% short on the float. I believe they are the smart money. I am being told that the short interest has increased to something like 50% on Friday. If that is true, the shorts will definately win is my opinion.

5) There will be about 23 million shares, if i remember correctly, unlocked for selling sometime in March. That's alot of selling pressure, if the owners plan to sell.

I will be shorting NYX on all rises, as long as the stock stays below $102. I believe NYX has the potential to see 90, and possibly 80.

Good luck.

PEG ratio for NYX is now at 3.1, which is above Cramer's expensive zone at 2.0. Why didn't he recommend his listeners to sell the stock on Friday after the report? Methinks he was being cryptic (in my opinion he was trying to say sell in a non-obvious way).

That PEG might not be right if you take Cramers perspective on NYX because the Earnings growth does not include his reasons.

NYX: i do know that alot of people own this stock. It has already achieved cult-like status.

So we gonna play it based on the tape, rather than fundamentals. If the stock gets and stays above 102-102.5, we must assume we are wrong about shorting NYX. Otherwise, we short it on all rises.

You may be right about shorting NYX, but I am wary of shorting any stock exchanges.
Look at the recent performances of
ICE, NMX, CME and BOT.
NYX and NDAQ are the only laggards. The only difference I think is that ICE, NMX, CME and BOT trade a lot more futures (Where the commissions are a lot higher) while NYX and NDAQ mostly trades stocks.
But a glance at the expansion plans of NYX and NDAQ tell you that they plan to monopolize the gambling err... I mean the trading market.
I am a buyer on dips for all these stocks.

CASINOS
LVS, MGM

BROKERAGES
GS, LEH, BSC, MS, MER

EXCHANGES
NYX, NDAQ, ICE, NMX, CME, BOT

Not to forget Cramers call to short ICE at 133. I think it is just a lot of shorts getting creamed that it is now at 143.

What do you think abt this baby and price target around June 2007.
I hear its going to be $125 (pre split).

Blogger beanie11111 said...

THE CAUSE OF INFERTILITY/DIFFICULTY CONCEIVING (not totally infertile)/ IMPOTENCE/BALDNESS/PREMATURE GREY HAIR all have one thing in common.

I continue to make countless observations about people and see it to be true over 95-99% of the time. In fact, i haven't personally seen one case that has proven me wrong.

The Oriental medicinal men have known this for many many many years. And how right they were.

*** That cause is TOO MUCH SEX and/or TOO MUCH SELF-LOVE (aka MASTERBATION), with self-love being more common. ***

Sometimes i hear medical "experts" on tv saying that the more sex the better it is for you. WRONG WRONG WRONG and wrong. In my opinion, it's only better for infertility clinics and drug companies that make stuff like viagra.

When you have too much sex or more likely "beat your meat" constantly you drain the heck out of your "life-force"/"life-energy"/"chi". (Don't tell me "chi" is non-existent, unless you're willing to stand in front of an Asian kung-fu master and let him blow you away with his chi.)

Excessive sex or self-love depletes that energy system in the lower part of the abdomen as well as elsewhere in the body. Not gonna go much in depth here but i'll tell ya what i observe.

Contrary to what people think, they do not need to have sex 3 times a day. Once a week or even once every two week is actually healthier.

Men who are bald or have early baldness (of course, there are some who have medical problems but that's not what i'm talking about here) or have premature gray hair (having graying hair at an age earlier than normal) tend to have too much sex, but self-love is much more likely. Impotence, early baldness, premature graying hair, are a byproduct of highly sexed individuals who have excessive sex or self-love.

Women with earlier graying hair are very easy to observe. Some have graying hair while they're in high school. Others start graying while in college. These tend to be very highly sex-ed women (this i see extremely common). Also, later in life they tend to have a harder time conceiving than those who are less sexed and do not have premature gray hair.

Doubt me if you wish, but do go around and make lots of observations and you shall see.

To reduce the symptoms you don't want, you need to have less sex and/or self-love. For some, it may be too late but you can reduce the progression or sometimes reverse some of the symptoms by slowing down there, cowboy! lol
