We have seen what happened to stocks like MA and NDAQ after earnings when they disappoint one way or another. Same with NVDA.
Pay attention and watch what happens to NVDA this morning. The best thing for the shorts is that the stock gaps up and proceeds to go negative. You then short it for a daytrade/swingtrade.
You can also purchase feb puts near/in the money. But play small with options, please.

Gosu, what you do mean reload for shorts, the mkts all over the world were positive, i was thinking of covering my shorts today for a loss. tell me why you think we will be going lower today. Aren't the futures pointing to a positive open?

I can't tell ya how important today is gonna be as Ben speaks. It will determine whether we gonna get the correction we've been looking for or it could slaughter the bears once again.
What happens, I just want high volume. I am tired of low volume days.

ICE is cracking somewhat. I still have my short positions established after feb 9. Have not covered yet. I don't wanna cover (yet) when the market is this high. These are just March puts that i've been adding a little at a time on the way up. (Not recommended! lol)

nooooooo not yet, i've just gone long NWACQ to make up for my ICE losses and i'm doing very well. all i need is another 10 cents :) maybe today maybe tomorrow now that oil is going down i expect airlines to do well.

I am not impressed with your predictions this year, I find they are often incorrect. While the overall markets are overbought this rally will continue to a slow rise of dow 12,900. You heard it here. My picks are CREE, and JADE currently at $8.28 (target price $12) and CREE currently at $16.83 (target $22) I will check back here in one month and refer to this post.

The longer trend of the market is up up away. I said last year that 2007 will be a great year, led by technology. I still believe that. THIS WILL BE A POWERFUL YEAR WHERE THE DIEHARD BEARS WILL BLEED TO DEATH!!! Tell your bear friends to wake up and smell the coffee, for they will become barbeque for the longs.
Although the bears really desperately need a short term correction to get out unscathed, this correction will be very short lived if we get one. I would like to see a correction as well to load up on stocks. We may or may not get it, so don't be a chronic bear.
Also, be sure to grab yourselves 100 shares of CRM and 500 shares of EXEL (although i like CRM more) and hold it for a few years. That 100 shares of CRM could become 1600 shares in 5 years. jmho
