If so, then we need to short tech.
Obviously, start with where the problem is: MSFT.
And then the direct beneficiaries of MSFT's Vista: NVDA (by the way, those who already own puts should be richly rewarded). NVDA hadn't impressed on their earnings report.
Also short BIDU because it's weak and it's going to 95 eventually.
CRM is overextended short term and hitting important resistance. Short that too. I believe CRM is now a great short.
Momentum stocks outside of tech should also get hit hard. Do you have the gonads to short ICE? Let me do it as it's not for the faint of heart.

Anyways, ICE is no longer a short and it's dangerous to short it from this point on, unless it gaps up on Tuesday and proceeds to go negative. Two things can happen with ICE - it either goes to 200 or it corrects to 125. Tuesday's action will tell.
I thought, wrongly, that ICE would correct like NYX, NDAQ, and ISE, but it didn't. Turns out, ICE is the strongest stock there is right now. So with the market going higher, ICE will likely follow.
ICE:
The shorts are hoping for a gap up and then see the stock go negative. And they will short it hard if and when it does go negative on Tuesday.
Because ICE is such a powerful stock, i don't suggest anyone shorting it unless you know what you're doing and have a plan of attack.

You know folks? We may actually not get the correction that everyone is expecting, simply because everyone is expecting it.
You know beanie...that's exactly what I've been thinking lately.
There is now a clear difference between the type of exchanges:
1) NYX, NDAQ and ISE are stock exchanges
2) ICE, NMX, BOT and CME are primarily futures exchanges.
ICE has been on a tear because it is revolutionizing the futures trading. It is going to slowly replace the traders in the pits. Now you can trade cotton futures with the click of an average Joe's computer.
And man! this futures trading is SOOOOO addictive. Just trade one E-mini future and you will realize that trading stocks sucks.
The commissions that exchanges (ICE, NMX and CME) charge for 1 contract is outstanding. The charge is usually around a dollar for 1 round trip.
The volumes have been steadily increasing and they have been astounding as well.
So, my investing theme for this year is going to be:
1) Brokerages
2) Casinos
3) Exchanges
What is THE best charting software that anyone has used? How would you rate stockcharts.com?
