The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. Even though CSCO is higher premarket, the other tech are only gapping a little bit.

Unless we get a strong high volume market rally with stocks gaining huge, i still feel a correction is coming.

Hence, NYX and AAPL are still shorts for me on any rise. NYX is a definate short. AAPL, on the other hand, because of a decent reversal yesterday i'm gonna see what it does this morning.

good luck.

my gut says that they are going to report blow-out earnings, but i have nothing to base that on other than the fact that i use my credit card for almost EVERYTHING :)

Regarding AAPL call to short at mid 84, we made money several times on that play. I am first and foremost a daytrader who happen to also hold positions for an extended period.

AAPL's reversal yesterday is confirmed today. Going higher. I sure hope it takes out 90.

Blogger beanie11111 said...

Regardless of what most people think, Cramer does affect the markets with his general market calls, at least for the short term.

I guess he doesn't think tech is as bad as he originally thought. His call for the tech sell only lasted 2-3 days, and today he thinks techs are going higher for 4 weeks.

Obviously he is a trader (as opposed to investor) by nature. Successful traders must be flexible and change with the markets. (Herb Greenberg, on the other hand, is not a trader as he is very fixated in one direction only. In fact, Herb is not even an investor. His frame of mind is simply not conducive to being either a trader or an investor.)

Cramer sometimes gets alot of people mad as hell because he changes his mind so frequently. But instead of getting mad, people should take advantage of his calls and position themselves accordingly, even if just for the short term.

mark,

Of course not! On-demand software is the wave of the future.

Who would have known Oracle, a database company, would become such a behemoth? But it did.

CRM was taking market share from Siebel systems, which eventually sold itself to Oracle. The Customer-Relationship Management space is an important sector and CRM is slated to dominate that space alone.

CRM has many on-demand products that many companies are currently using.

But there's more....
