The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. NYX: short it on this gap up or run near 102.

NYX closed @ 100.75

Market futures taking a beating this morning.

Short NYX for a daytrade.

Other than that, i don't think it's a good idea to play either direction until after Ben speaks.

Flashing red warning!!!!!! Market correction is coming.

I've been looking charts of the SPY and QQQQ and it's telling me that a correction is coming very very soon. We are so long on the tooth with this bull run that started last July and has yet to correct. I believe that time is here.

Please shave off most of your long positions and keep 50% cash at least, so you can buy the stocks you love at the bottom of this correction.

SPY 140 April puts (which closed @ 1.75)
QQQQ 44 April puts (which closed @ 1.45)

Please play small on options. You can add a little more as the selloff gets confirmed.

Good luck.

AAPL gapping up premarket can be shorted.

AAPL closed @ 85.38

Gapping up this morning right now on no news could be a good short at 86.20 area.

1/2 position short only because it's way too early.

Friday, January 26, 2007

AAPL: the shorts are waiting for 86 to break.

AAPL closed @ 86.25

I believe that if 86 breaks this time, the stock will see 80-82 very quickly.

Cramer came out and defended the stock once more last nite. It seems like just about everyday somebody calls him about AAPL and he defends it, in addition to the fact that he pushes the stock just about every morning of every day.

Thursday, January 25, 2007

Don't be too excited to buy stocks Thursday.

I expect a selloff. I think Wednesday's huge rally was due mainly to short covering.

I am waiting for the market to prove me wrong.

If i'm right, likely i'd be shorting tech again - AAPL, GOOG and possibly EBAY on the gap up.

Good luck.

AAPL: i'm not sure which direction it's headed today.

But the path of least resistance is still down short term.

AAPL closed @ 85.70

The shorties are just dying for that 85 to break. And once it does, you should pile in your shorts!!!

We are getting a gap up due to YHOO's earnings last nite, even though Goldman Sachs is downgrading the stock today.

Let's try to get a feel for AAPL this morning.

Good luck.

AAPL gets ready for the bodyslam???

AAPL closed @ 86.79

I was hoping we get a little bit more bounce today to pile in more short positions. But it looks pretty weak this morning, although low volume.

Let's short it, but don't do it premarket. Volume is too low so far. It may gap down and bounce.

OPBL ready to fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OPBL closed @ 4.34

I recommended this last week (or the week before that) at $3.85 and said this was the only otcbb stock i would care to buy. Right after the close today, the company announced that the Nymex would purchase 19% of the company's equity!

Holy smokes, it's a gappa here and god knows how far it will rise.

Short/intermediate/longer term trade.

Time to give AAPL the uppercut?

AAPL closed @ 88.50

Unless the company issues strong positive news or there is strong volume premarket buying, i expect AAPL to go down some more. I don't know what other positive news there can be for AAPL, especially when Steve Jobs already spilled his last loads with AppleTV and the iPhone announcements. The one thing left that can really kill the stock is the options backdating scandal. The company's "internal" investigations means nothing to the SEC. (Remember what happened to ESCL? They said their internal investigation found no wrongdoing. Bamm!!! The Nasdaq drops their arses into the pinksheets!)

Short it for the short term. If $88 breaks (i rather see 87.50 break), you can feel pretty safe to pile in your shorts. Alternatively, you can short on any rise. The 92-93 area is strong resistance, with some resistance at 90 as well. If the stock doesn't close above 90, more shorts are likely gonna pile in.

AAPL: let's jab it some more!

AAPL closed @ 89.07

I see it going to the low 80 eventually, then a bounce, and then eventually to 70 (and possibly 60 worst case).

Sock it and short it on all rises!

Don't get me wrong. I still like AAPL for the longer term. But hey, daytraders/swingtraders gotta make money to pay their bills, you know.

Don't short pre-market. The volume looks kinda low even though it's gapping down this morning.

AAPL getting rotten short term!

AAPL closed @ 94.95 and is trading at @93.40 this premarket.

It's time to short AAPL on any rise. Great earnings and revenues growth last quarter but guided lower next quarter which didn't beat analysts' expectations. What is important is the guidance, not so much last quarter's great results.

Also, the iPhone is available in June but we won't know how it will do until the October conference call.

So i expect AAPL to be pressured at least for the next 2-3 months.

Short it when the stock rebounds on the gap down.

NYX

NYX closed @ 105.79

Buy this stock if it looks like it's going positive, or buy the early morning dip.

Day/swing trade. Also great longer term investment.

Do you YHOO?

YHOO closed @ 28.70

The stock has been on a roll the last few days.

The reasons i think YHOO will have a great year are:

1) The stock essentially bottomed in 2006 and a laggard that year. I also believe techs will lead strongly this year.

2) Allowing message board postings on penny stocks should bring back alot of users who normally post at Ragingbull.com and other websites.

3) Yahoo has stated last year they are rolling out 'Panama' that is meant to compete with google.

4) The technicals of YHOO is looking really good. Are you seeing the inverted head-n-shoulder pattern right now? I see it. All it needs to do is to blow past the 200dayMA right now at 28.69 .

Let's see if we get some sort of dip today or tomorrow before entering. Hey, if it continues to rip away, we got no choice but to enter. This is not the first time YHOO is on our recommended list.

Intermediate to longer term trade.

AAPL-LMRA-JSDA

2) LMRA closed @ 5.40

AAPL is the premier high tech to own this year!!!

AAPL closed @ 92.57

This stock was recommended at 75 several months before. I still like it alot and still believe it will see $200.

Intermediate to longer term play.

buy buy buy!!! (If it takes out the previous high, you need to be in in in!)

OPBL on fire!!!!!!!

OPBL currently trading @ 3.85

This is the only otcbb garbageland stock i would consider buying. OPBL offers an options trading platform for crude and natural oil. The company is growing at a fast clip and is profitable, and as soon as it gets to $5 and stays above it the stock will move to a new exchange.

Intermediate to longer term trade. This stock could see $10. Only once in a very long while will i recommend a garbageland otcbb stock.

3.40

DIVX ready to climb!

DIVX closed @ 23.97

DIVX is my best trade recommendation for Monday. Buy no more than a 50 cent gap up, else wait for a possible morning dip for entry.

day/swing trade

Friday, January 05, 2007

DIVX issues a reversal signal

DIVX closed @ 23.30

Let's see if we get a morning dip tomorrow for a good entry.

Day/swing trade.

Thursday, January 04, 2007

FFHL for a swingtrade

FFHL is trading @ 15.75

This chinese stock has been hot since its ipo.

The technicals are good for a swingtrade.

PFSW going higher

PFSW closed @ 1.30

This will be one of the only 2 sub $2 stocks i'm gonna give ya possibly for the remainder of this year. The other one was FORG, given yesterday.

Both are headed alot higher this year is my opinion.

Buy multiple positions, especially on dips. I am very confident you will make money on these two as long as you have patience and not be afraid to add the dips.

Short, intermediate to longer term play. Like FORG, PFSW is not something i would invest for the long term.

(I have no position in either FORG or PFSW.)

Wednesday, January 03, 2007

FORG should trade higher.

FORG closed @ 1.58

Last quarter's results weren't bad at all. Not really sure what it is that this company does. I like it more for a trade rather than a long term investment.

See if there's any dip for entry.

Short to intermediate term trade.
