The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. RNIN is the American version of FMCN!

RNIN closed @ 4.58

RNIN creates digital advertising signage, like its Chinese counterpart FMCN.

This was found on briefing.com (if i remembered correctly) yesterday:

"A small IPO, Wireless Ronin (RNIN), just opened for trading at $3.70. The co makes digital signs targeting specific retail and service markets. Digital signage is an electronic media viewed by a person on a video display. A common example is an electronic billboard display in an arena or other public area. Its RoninCast is a digital alternative to static signage, such as cardboard or paper. Also, its digital signs can be combined with interactive touch screens. The co has installed systems in over 200 locations since the introduction of RoninCast in Jan 2003. The co is small with a $26 mln mkt cap and has never been profitable. Revenue for the 9 mos ended Sep 30 were just $1.9 mln, but that was up 250% yr/yr. Briefing Note: RNIN is clearly a speculative name, but some traders may look at it as a long awaited secondary play on Focus Media (FMCN 66.44 -1.72), which has been a big winner. It's a bit of a stretch, but FMCN provides a similar advertising service in the China market while RNIN is in the US. There really are not any other FMCN plays, so momentum traders may want to keep it on the radar as a speculative play on any move in FMCN. This is a 4.5 mln share deal led by Feltl & Co. (IPOXX)"

Buy the dip for intermediate to longer term play. Remember not to put too much money on small stocks. Your core holdings should be in stocks like RVBD, AAPL, NYX, SHLD, GOOG, AKAM, etc.

Got this from the FMCN message board:

"HUGE find in report. Sealy will purchase 250 systems PER QUARTER will increase RNIN sales 5 fold.

Sealy Corporation. We entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Sealy Corporation in July 2006. During 2005, we worked with Sealy to develop the SealyTouch TM system, which is an in-store, interactive shopping and training aid for mattress customers and retail associates. Sealy distributes its products through approximately 2,900 dealers at approximately 7,000 locations. Sealy purchased 50 systems in 2006. We have agreed to work with Sealy on an exclusive basis in the bedding manufacture and retail field and will be Sealy’s exclusive vendor for these systems during the three-year term of the agreement, assuming Sealy’s satisfaction of minimum order requirements described below, and contingent upon the successful conclusion of Sealy’s system beta testing and the parties entering into a master services agreement and certain other related agreements. Our commitment to work with Sealy on an exclusive basis is subject to Sealy ordering either: (i) 250 SealyTouch systems per calendar quarter beginning with the quarter ending December 31, 2006, "

PNTR should go higher!!!

PNTR closed @19.30

I like the fact that it traded around the 19 area pretty much all day, making 19 decent support area. PNTR has 3 million shares outstanding and 500k shares in the float. Because of the low float, i believe PNTR will see $50. The company recently had a profitable quarter, so i don't expect traders to give up on the stock so soon.

PNTR actually has a lower float than EFUT, which i think has 1.5 million shares.

Short term to intermediate term play.

Most of you should already have at least a 1/2 position around the 19 area. Let's buy the second 1/2 if the stock takes out 23 or dips to the 15 area.

I am already 2 for 2 on the low floaters - SWAT & EFUT. SWAT doubled in one week. EFUT yielded a 300% return in less than two weeks. Are we gonna do it again (with PNTR)? Stay tuned...

Good luck. Play small.

STX hard disks for video gamers!

Seagate (STX) closed at $26.69

The company makes data storage devices for many applications. www.seagate.com

This behemoth should benefit from the increasing spending on consumer electronics in the next few years, along with companies like AAPL and SNDK.

Short, intermediate and longer term play.

It needs to take out 28 and then 30. After that, the sky's the limit.

ZVUE encore!!! I love this stock!!

I know alot of sites that have user-generated videos for you to look at , but i know of only a few sites that allow you to download user-generated videos to your portable video player (ipod, zune, zvue) and that site is www.zvue.com .

There is a paradigm shift coming in the Youtube phenomenon and that is being able to take those videos with you whenever and wherever you want it. Do you even comprehend how profound this is?

I believe that ZVUE will eventually be worth more than what Google paid for Youtube ($1.6 billion). You might say i be crazy. You might say i be dreaming. You might even say i'm just a really bad pumper. That's ok by me. That's what they all said about EBAY, GOOG, and YHOO before they became the huge companies we know them today.

I could definately be wrong about ZVUE, but i am not wrong about the significance of being able to download user-generated videos to your portable video player. I want you to ask your wife, husband or your friends about this. I want you to ask them if they believe being able to download user-generated videos to any portable video player will be hot. I already know the answer. Do you?

I am now raising my intermediate term target to $20 .

Don't just pay any price for ZVUE. Buy the dips to support areas.

Marvellous MRVL

MRVL closed @ 20.86

MRVL produces chips that can be found in things like the Xbox and Playstation and many types of hardware. MRVL has had its chains pulled pretty hard for options-backdating. The stock should go much higher once it takes out $23.

Good short, intermediate, long term play. It has gone up almost $2 on Monday. Let's see if there's a dip tomorrow to get in.

Saturday, November 18, 2006

Own some ZVUE for web 2.0 . User-generated content is hot hot hot!

ZVUE closed @ $4.80

ZVUE just acquired www.dorks.com , which currently has nearly 1 million unique visitors per month. ZVUE management thinks they can improve that to 3-5 million unique visitors next year.

Dorks.com is a hot site which has yet to monetize on advertising.

Very soon, you will be able to download videos (from both dorks.com and zvue.com) to your portable video player via www.zvue.com . You will soon be able to upload videos to the Free Stuff section of www.zvue.com as well, which can also be downloaded to your portable video player.

Buy every freakin last share there is!!!!!!!!!!???? Actually, anything in the low $4's or below is a great buy in my opinion.

ZVUE management lineup is an experienced group of businessmen and engineers.

Volume of shares traded the last 3 days is absolutely THRU THE ROOF!!!!!!!!

Buy the dip for intermediate to longer term play. This stock is also great for daytraders if the trading volume keeps up.

ADSK is a buy!

ADSK is gapping up to $39 area from yesterday's close of $37.

This is one of those potential big plays in tech in the next few years.

Short, Intermediate, and longer term play.

Nymex (NMX) goes ipo tomorrow.

NMX has been priced near 50.

You can set a buy at 75 when it opens for trading. I have no doubts it will see $100 really quick.

Tuesday, November 14, 2006

HPQ is an awesome buy!

HPQ @ 40.50

A break above 40 means it's time to get on board. HPQ is one of the best tech companies in America.

Intermediate to longer term play.

Chinese CYD in play.

CYD @ 8.25

CYD is a chinese company that manufactures diesel engines. It is one of the top 3 diesel companies in China. With over $700 million in revenues last year and $8 million in profits, it boggles the mind why it went to as low as $4 (giving it a market cap of 150 million!). CYD makes Kmart look expensive is my opinion! lol...

Actually, most chinese companies got decimated last year when the Chinese government decided to slow its overheated economy. Regardless, CYD grew as a company and continues to grow.

CYD trades on the New York Stock Exchange and has over 5,000 employees.

If you believe China has future potential for growth, CYD could be a good investment to participate in that growth. As its economy grows, ya gonna have more trucks and buses.

Intermediate to longer term play. If the stock takes out $10, it could see $30 again. Be sure to sell 1/2 if we get lucky enough to get a double.

QCOM has bottomed!!!!!!!!

QCOM @ 36.15

This stock has technically bottomed. Today's news about Motorola buying their chips ought to be the driver for this stock going higher.

Intermediate to longer term trade.

DELL is a good bargain!

DELL @ 25.47

DELL is a good intermediate to longer term play.

My goodness, EFUT on fire this morning!

Don't ya think you should take a little off the table?

Friday, November 10, 2006

NYX on fire!

It's trading at all time high right now in the low $90's.

I've talked about this company as the next CME and raised target to $200.

Cramer confirmed it yesterday.

Thursday, November 09, 2006

GIGM is the next NTES!

GIGM @ 11.02

GIGM just had blowout earnings today. If GIGM were to be valued similarly to NTES, it would be a $25 stock. GIGM has a market cap of about 600 million while NTES has a market cap of about 2 billion. NTES makes about twice the revenue of GIGM. Profit margin is about the same.

Rumor is that Louis Navellier thinks GIGM is the next HANS.

Intermediate to longer term play.

DIS is announcing earnings today.

DIS @ 33.25

If you're gonna play, play small. Could be nice lunch money.

DIS is a great longer term play as well.

DIVX: the next YouTube?

DIVX @ 25.32

DIVX is the creator of the Divx video technology. They recently created a YouTube type of website where you can upload/download videos that have more clarity than those at Youtube. www.stage6.divx.com . Google is one of DIVX's customers.

This is not the first time i recommend DIVX and probably won't be the last.

Intermediate to longer term play.

Cramer said to buy CSCO right thru earnings.

CSCO closed @ 24.68

He's been on fire with picking big caps going into earnings. I would give him the benefit of the doubt on CSCO as well.

The nice thing about placing a bet long on CSCO is that it's a relatively safe bet. CSCO is a huge stock in the right sector. Even if you're wrong, you won't get hit too badly.

Buy small (maybe 400-500 shares) and hold into earnings this Wednesday after the bell. If Cramer turns out to be right in his assessment, you score a decent amount of lunch money. (Or you can hold CSCO for the longer term for a very decent investment.)

Monday, November 06, 2006

No matter how you cut it, BRLC is undervalued.

With growth like this, i'm surprised Jim Cramer didn't pump us.... lol

Friday, November 03, 2006

high definition BRLC!

BRLC @ 7.99 right now. Sorry i didn't get you guys in sooner. I wasn't paying attention to the market earlier.

holy cow! With revenues expected at $600 million this year, this company only has a market cap of 400 million. Recently profitable.

Wait for a break above $8 before entry. Short, intermediate to longer term trade.

Because the market ain't so great, and it probably won't be that great next week (in my opinion), let's not put too much money in the stock for now.

chinese ipo EFUT on fire!

EFUT closed @ 11.40

EFUT is a chinese software company that currently has 500 customers, many of which are China's largest corporations. There are about 3 million outstanding shares and 1.1 million shares in the float.

With revenues at $5 million (usd) and $750,000 income, this is a recently profitable company. With only 1.1 million shares in the float, this is a volatile stock. For good traders, this can be a very profitable stock to trade.

Buy under $10 (most preferable) or a break above $12. I would not hold this stock pass $25 (which gives it a 75 million market cap).

Remember i gave ya guys SWAT @4.70 and it went to above $9 in less than 2 weeks. SWAT got potential but it had little revenue and was not a profitable company. I feel that EFUT could get to $20 (doesn't mean you should wait till $20 to take profits) but we'll see. Another way to play this stock is to buy below $10 and sell somewhere above it.

Day or swing trade. Please play small or you can get hurt. Don't chase the stock but set a limit order so it can come to your desired level of entry. You really do not need to chase it because it will be very volatile.

Microsoft gives NOVL a boost!!!

NOVL closed @ 6.83

The 200 day MA is at $7.20 . So you must not purchase this stock unless it trades above $7.20 and stays above it. Microsoft will talk about this partnership afterhours today.

Also, the unemployment report is tomorrow morning. That will have a significant impact on the markets. The market technicals are showing that we are due for a bounce but don't count on it until traders react positively to the employment report.

You can buy NOVL afterhours if it takes out $7.20 , but i'm gonna wait.

Day to Swing trade.

NVDA: The graphics chips monster

NVDA closed @ 32.18

I keep on watching this stock for over a year now and never pulled the trigger. Man, i gotta go get my mercury amalgams checked.

Intermediate to longer term play.

EBAY is headed higher.

EBAY closed @ 32.11

This is not the first time i recommend this stock. This company has a monopoly in the auctions platform.

Intermediate to longer term play.
