PNTR should go higher!!!

I like the fact that it traded around the 19 area pretty much all day, making 19 decent support area. PNTR has 3 million shares outstanding and 500k shares in the float. Because of the low float, i believe PNTR will see $50. The company recently had a profitable quarter, so i don't expect traders to give up on the stock so soon.
PNTR actually has a lower float than EFUT, which i think has 1.5 million shares.
Short term to intermediate term play.
Most of you should already have at least a 1/2 position around the 19 area. Let's buy the second 1/2 if the stock takes out 23 or dips to the 15 area.
I am already 2 for 2 on the low floaters - SWAT & EFUT. SWAT doubled in one week. EFUT yielded a 300% return in less than two weeks. Are we gonna do it again (with PNTR)? Stay tuned...

Intermediate term is 2-6 months.
Let's worry about $10 first before $20. It will not see $20 until the good news come. At $20, ZVUE would have nearly 300 million market cap, a little too high for an unprofitable company. Now that i think about it, i feel more comfortable with $10-15 than $20 in the intermediate term.
I need to see ZVUE in the process of becoming profitable before i feel really comfortable with the $20 target. We'll see what management has to say in the next few weeks.
I gave that $20 target because i was really excited with the possibilities i envision in my mind.

No it won't impact the target. The listing requirement warning was due to the fact the company had a board of director who left but has yet to be replaced by a new one. They had till next October to name a new director.

It's a very interesting game show i watch all the time on CNBC. I don't know where they get so many of the knucklehead participates. I just watched the show tonite and it makes my blood boil! lol
The big man had $147,000 offer from the banker with 3 numbers to go:

What kind of fool wouldn't take the offer? The big man did NOT take the deal!
Yes he had 33% chance of hitting that big number and if he doesn't hit it his new offer would be about $250,000, but what most of these knuckleheads don't consider is how much risk they are taking. He is risking all $147,000 just to gain another $100,000 (it is not likely he will go on after he hits a small number, yielding the next offer of $250,000). Guess what? The fool didn't take the money and run. He ended up picking the 500k case. Ouch, take me out and shoot me!
I don't ever want you folks to treat the stock market like that fool. Just because you have a 66% chance of winning doesn't guarantee you will win. 66% is only good if you get to do it many many times and you don't have to risk alot, like the casinos. That big fool only had one chance and he blew it.
Always always consider the risk, not just the gains.

Do you have any opinion on IDCC as a SHORT candidate? I feel it's going down to $26. Or should i be less aggressive on my target? I am planning to buy Dec 30 puts. Today I sold out all my 136 BEBE contracts for Dec 22.5 puts for a 100%. May have left a lot of money on table but hey I wouldn't want to be that fool who would leave a double on the table for a potential triple. Thanks to you for your opinion on BEBE short.

Congrats on your play. If you ever want to gamble for more profits, you can always sell 70% and leave the other 30%. BEBE looks like it could see $20. Anyhow, great play.
IDCC has decent support at the $29-30 area. It could get to your target but i think it would take some time.

A small IPO, Wireless Ronin (RNIN), just opened for trading at $3.70. The co makes digital signs targeting specific retail and service markets. Digital signage is an electronic media viewed by a person on a video display. A common example is an electronic billboard display in an arena or other public area. Its RoninCast is a digital alternative to static signage, such as cardboard or paper. Also, its digital signs can be combined with interactive touch screens. The co has installed systems in over 200 locations since the introduction of RoninCast in Jan 2003. The co is small with a $26 mln mkt cap and has never been profitable. Revenue for the 9 mos ended Sep 30 were just $1.9 mln, but that was up 250% yr/yr. Briefing Note: RNIN is clearly a speculative name, but some traders may look at it as a long awaited secondary play on Focus Media (FMCN 66.44 -1.72), which has been a big winner. It's a bit of a stretch, but FMCN provides a similar advertising service in the China market while RNIN is in the US. There really are not any other FMCN plays, so momentum traders may want to keep it on the radar as a speculative play on any move in FMCN. This is a 4.5 mln share deal led by Feltl & Co. (IPOXX)

When market falls like this, you need to get a bit defensive and reduce margin.
We are due for a bounce soon, but if it continues going down by the close, you have to reduce margin.

SWAT is usually a very low volume stock. I don't really trust this runup. Nice news. But i want to see contract first before i dive in.
Among a few people, SWAT has become a cult stock. Go to their message board and you'll see what i mean.

You folks have to be careful buying all these low floaters that are going up 100%-200% a day. When markets are down, the selloff in the bigger stocks brings daytraders into the low floaters. These daytraders can leave just as fast as they come in. So you need to play small and don't play too many of them.

All I know is not to chase any stocks, especially low priced/ low float speculative stocks with no earnings.
I also know that you have to protect your capital. Stick with 8-10% loss.
I have seen many stocks go way up, and back all the way down. Who's to say that ZVUE will not go back to 4 or even less?

While it feels great watching your stock goes up 25-50-100%, the feeling is nasty watching your investment lose 10-20 or more.
Maybe ZVUE will work out, and I hope it does for everyone here. I just rather but quality stocks with earnings.
And most importantly, cut your loss and move on.

Hey pamfla....I hear ya, i lost alot last year as well. But this year i totaly changed my trading statagy and im up about 20%, excluding last yr. My approach now is to find stocks trending up and buy at the bottom of the trendline. A great stock that i picked up today was LFC....Check it out pam. The great ting about buying at the bottom of the trendline, is if it breaks the trendline, its time to get out and since u bought at the bottom, then u havent lost too much. Also, are you from florida as well...Let me know what you think about LFC...check out the chart....Brett

I think ZVUE is 2 speculative for me so took a loss and sold.
And I think Beanie was caught offguard by the selloff around 3PM today on ZVUE. W/o Level 2 I feel like i am flying blind. But yeah if I lose money its my fault only .....

not real clear on how to read charts...Bought ZVUE at 4.80 a while back...It flew the next day to 6.10 got out..Then went to 7.25..Beanie says I panic...Exp. Bought EFUT at 12.00 1,000 shares.. It swung to 10.40 nect morning..thought I was lucky shortly, a day after and sold at 11.80..Next three days...flew to 40.00 fricking bucks...duhhhhhhhhhhh
