The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I like to give ya big caps too, even though some of you like small caps. If you think about it, big caps are much better plays. With big caps, I can put in alot of money without having to worry about a halt or a big tankage. With small caps, i cannot put in alot of money without sweatin like a pig.

i aint buying much today, except SMSI on this morning's dip.
I am getting ready for the SMSI earnings report this afternoon.
AKAM is not a buy here. I think it's headed lower. I would be wrong if it is able to take out 47.60 .
LMRA: I am impressed how strong this stock is. The correction i anticipated has yet to come. It may not come and instead zoom higher.

I think the correction is done. Maybe a small dip tomorrow morning, but i think it's done.
I own SMSI and now waiting for earnings in a few minutes.
AKAM: i bought some shares. The 50-dayMA held. Who knows what happens tomorrow. Any downgrade would definately kill the stock.
GRMN: at $45 here is a good buy
The market tomorrow:
Thursday is usually not a good day for the markets as they tend to selloff. But we sold off alot today so it should dampen any typical effects. Maybe we get a gap down tomorrow, but we should rally after that.
The nasdaq is headed higher tomorrow is my opinion.
So what do think of SMSI report?

I'm glad i only have a small position going into the earnings, as stated. SMSI is still a good company. Looks like we may need another quarter for the stock to really blast off. I went with Louis Navellier on that one and we were both wrong. Earnings were good but not blowout as many investors expected. $13 is support. We could get there but then we should head higher after that. Going into 4th quarter earnings, i expect the stock to trade above $20. Notice we're hitting higher marks every quarter. Don't worry about SMSI. I will keep my small position and will add at lower prices.
Whenever you hold stocks into earnings, remember earnings tend to defy all technicals. I rarely hold stocks into earnings unless i know i plan to hold the stocks for the intermediate to longer term. The only time i would throw the stock away is if the earnings indicate that the fundamentals have change, which it hasn't for SMSI.
I don't believe SMSI will go to $9 like the last time. At worst, it could go to $13.

I will not touch DXPE. Float is too low and profit margin is weak. On top of that, it's not an exciting business. $31 is resistance.

Beanie, also RIMM looks like a great short play. It is running on a pumped up P/E with Stoch, RSI turning lower. If it goes down, it goes down BIG.
