The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns.
I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. January effect will take stocks like PNTR up from here. World markets are already rallying. PNTR is a great little company with great numbers, great growth and such a small float, about half a million, which is peanuts. Market cap is so tiny as well. This thing has lots of room to go up. With $7M cash it will look for technologies helping its south american expansion. $11 is the bottom. Look for 15-17 range in Jan.
Ted
Good one Ted!
JSDA:
I will be buying some JSDA for keeps today. If Cramer is wrong about JSDA being the next HANS, i'll send him my left over sodas. So far, all the Jones i've tried are nasty.
Why would you buy JSDA? It has a crazy forward p/e and you dont look the soda?
JSDA:
yes the pe is astronomical right now, but a national rollout of their products should fix that
Ok, as i've said before, i will not make as much comments as before, after giving out my pick for the day. So either i'm researching, settin up trades, or trading frantically, taking a nap, or out running an errand.
good luck!
Holy cow, who on heaven's earth is bidding up CPSL like this?
Congrats on whoever picked CPSL!
XNN looks like it waking up
RNIN is definetely picking up some volume...
HIHO another china/hong kong stock with a small float taking off.
RNIN is breaking out! BUY!!
Don't forget ASIA
MIVA in at $3.80 due to intraday support ... watching carefullly to see if this level holds .. nice volume today
KP
PFSW is a possible play..Just signed RVBD, Lego and FatHead LLC
CYD is now launching off. Buy on any dips.
short FFHL
will close dip if not close below 14 by day end IMO
wow, market gapped and crapped! lol
JSDA:
worth buying a little at 12. Some guy didn't like it at these prices.
No thanks! I'm already down $400!!
:-(
that's because you like to buy on rises and not dips! lol
i swear, Vonage the Dog has the stupidest customer service reps in America? Yikes!
Hey BEanie,
This market looks over sold, where should we put a few bucks for a possible turn around tommorow?
lee,
i dont know about a turnaround. It may be the start of a short term trend. Today's trading is very negative. Gapped up huge and crapped huge. Not what you wanna see. You probably want to be careful this month. Save some money and buy when there is more blood in the streets.
Thanks!!
I am shutting down for the day.
DIVX still a hold or add here?
anonymous,
DIVX has support at 22. I wouldn't be adding this soon. Cramer said to sell not too long ago.
DIVX:
Cramer basically said he no longer likes the stock. lol
Do fundamentals really change that fast? If you gonna run with cramer, you better sell with cramer.
Cramer is an idiot. You run with Cramer, you lose. Simple as that.
Any idea on the action of TRMM? Did they shake out the weak hands or what? I don't know about my hands, but my knees are weak!
Jim
i have divx and plan to keep
i am also wondering about trmm
greyhoundlas
JSDA:
This will now be my favorite long/short play for awhile until it's done.
I now have a position and looking to add on further dips
wow, i'm impressed that we got back some positive market mojo. It didn't finish as bad as i thought it would. Both Dow and Nasd closed in the green. The bears are trying really hard to dice and slice the market.
2007, in my opinion, should be a great year for the markets.
Take any deep corrections to load up. As long as you don't use margin, you should be fine.
It's ok to buy a little bit on every big one day dips like today when it was down -20 (Nasd).
All the bigger stocks i have an opinion of last year i still like all of them alot and believe they will do well.
Beanie:
Again any feelings about TRMM? Thanks
Jim
i will also get jsda tomorrow
any thoughts on trmm??
i hope u loaded drms.ob today
forming a handle
might pop soon
sorry beanie for posting this
but i believe its easy money
Beanie, just a general nagging question that I have been thinking about...
You post a recommendation and everyone jumps on board. As the days pass you recommend others. The first recommendation is going sideways or even down. Everyone is posting wanting to know what you now think of it. Post after post....
Would it be a safe assumption that you stand by all of your official recommendations (unless bad news exists) even though they might be sliding a bit?
In other words, would-you/have-you-ever come out with a post that would say something like, "Oops, I was wrong about the stock ????! Exit ASAP!"? If so, how far back would you do this?
SEED is the one Chinese company with growth that hasn't move.
I'm buying on every dip.
don't you all think you should back off from beanie?? this is his blog and he is recommending only things he would buy he doesn't deserve the @#@t or the heat-- today was a strange one i bet plenty of us made bad buys early in this day!!!! we still have tomorrow to recoup
correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm sensing that many on here are thinking that Beanie has lost his mojo and are starting to second guess his recent stock picks. only time will tell of course, so i strongly recommend that everyone remain patient and give Beanie the benefit of the doubt. Enough said!
Jim,
TRMM is going higher this year. No worries here. Just a bit of consolidation.
anonymous,
I stand by all my picks (unless bad news comes out that i got no control of). I may have forgotten about them but i still stand by them. The daytraders that follow them will likely be the first to reap the benefits. (As daytraders, we tend to try to look for new opportunities that give us better yield. This is not recommended for most people.) The rest of the non-daytraders may end up getting hit with consolidation because they weren't fast enough to get out when the daytraders take profits or they were chasing the stock up instead of waiting for a correction. The nondaytraders should think about multiple entry points rather buying everything in one big gulp.
JSDA:
i think this stock will be in play for some time. It's a cult alright. I went out to Target and bought some new flavors to try.
Yikes! Still tastes like crap. Are people buying Jones just to see how much nasty they can take? lol
Please give me some flavors you think are really good.
Oil stocks, i believe, are in danger this year and could get hit really hard. Why did oil trade at 80 in the first place? Thanks to the pumper Boone Pickens?
Stocks to short, and many others in the sector:
BHI
FTO
HAL
I wouldn't worry about FORG. There should still be alot of umph left in the stock. Feel free to buy the dips.
