The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. NYX

NYX closed @ 105.79

Buy this stock if it looks like it's going positive, or buy the early morning dip.

Day/swing trade. Also great longer term investment.

new analyst coverage for GIGM out this morning

GIGM was given a $15 price target on anticipation of excelerated earnings over the next couple of years

GIGM currently trades at $10; i see a 50% rise in price over the next 6-8 weeks for GIGM

4Q ER is due out in early March; watch for a nice pre-earnings run coming for GIGM

Keep XING on your radar this morning guys. Might be a pullback day on light volume which would be a great buy or it may just keep running. Severely undervalued at the current levels. Analyst upgrade yesterday to "Strong Buy" with a $20.00 price target which is considered conservative by itself.

Hey all,

Found a little known stock that can run with little help as it only has a 1 million float. Has been on a steady climb since the 5th. May be worth looking at.

Best to all.

if everyone here will remember, GIGM was a pick of beanie's back in early November

i do not recommend GIGM as only a short/immediate term play; it is a buy & hold for your long-term account

GIGM is big in on-line poker (owns 55% of the world's 5th largest poker site called "Everest Poker") & is now expanding inot on-line gaming (video games, etc.)

GIGM is exclusively after the Asian & European markets, not at all after US business

gambling + gaming will equal stupendous revenues & profits over the next few years with many Asian economies starting to ramp up w/ the 2008 Summer Olympics on the horizon in China

get in GIGM now

To all:

The following is a suggestion and my opinion. One thing I have done this year is to make 50% of my holdings China stocks. With 2008 being the year for China to sponsor the Olympics and China stocks increasing on the exchange I think this is going to be where the real profits will be made.

Short list:

ASIA,CHINA,SEED,GIGM,TSTC,CPSL,CAAS,
CHU,CHL,CHA,AOB,XINGCHL,GRRF,COGO,
JST,MR,SOHU,EFUT,NCTY,HNP,FMCN,PTR,
BIDU.

Hope this is helpful.

RAS -

i totally agree

if you look at the economy's performance history of the country that is sponsoring the Olympics, that country's eceonmy really has prospered

i read last week that the worst-performing economy the year prior to the Olympics being hosted in their country was like a 17% increase - and that was the worst-performer

the best was like over 50%

I've also been getting killed following Beanie's picks this year. Fortunately only paper trades. RAS's advice about holding a large amount of China stocks is a good one. May I also suggest CPSL and SEED?? CPSL is a recent IPO that may turn into another RNIN.

NYX: if it closes positive today (or looks to go positive), it's a great buy. If it breaks above 107, you need to be in in and in.

AAPL: earnings is tonite. That shortie Doug Kass, from thestreet.com is an as_! lol

That guy's been attacking AAPL forever and has been a market permabear forever now. I'm told he owns two short hedge funds. I am praying that dude gets his booty handed to him this year. What a nutso.

GOOG: it'll be ok. Options exp week is always volatile because huge profits can be made by the big boys by keeping the stock at a certain price range before friday. The stock should fly next week, if not sooner.

Why they keep on talking about Barack Obama? i doubt he'll be president. Majority of Americans are still racist against colored people, whether they admit it or not. The man is taking too much coverage away from Hilary Clinton. She has a better chance at the presidency.

My prediction for the presidential race is Al Gore. I think he is sitting back and letting the others kill each other and then he will step in.
I will be very surprised if Clinton wins the election!!!

What do you think the upside and the downside is to AAPL pricewise?

Wed Jan 17, 02:58:00 PM EST

The way EFUT has leveled off reminds me of a potential "pop". (High risk reward)

anonymous,

Regarding AAPL, i think the downside could be to $87. Upside would be above 100 but when all is said and done, AAPL is short term very overbought and probably due for a correction either way. It already rose 20 points the last 2.5 weeks.
