Time to give AAPL the uppercut?
Unless the company issues strong positive news or there is strong volume premarket buying, i expect AAPL to go down some more. I don't know what other positive news there can be for AAPL, especially when Steve Jobs already spilled his last loads with AppleTV and the iPhone announcements. The one thing left that can really kill the stock is the options backdating scandal. The company's "internal" investigations means nothing to the SEC. (Remember what happened to ESCL? They said their internal investigation found no wrongdoing. Bamm!!! The Nasdaq drops their arses into the pinksheets!)
Short it for the short term. If $88 breaks (i rather see 87.50 break), you can feel pretty safe to pile in your shorts. Alternatively, you can short on any rise. The 92-93 area is strong resistance, with some resistance at 90 as well. If the stock doesn't close above 90, more shorts are likely gonna pile in.

If the stock gaps higher premarket on low volume, i think it's safe to short it.
Btw, the oils have short term bottomed. Should go higher for maybe a few weeks to a few months.
You can buy USO or VLO or HAL, etc.
I am kinda or wary of the huge gap up on the nasdaq futures yet the tech leaders i am looking at are very low volume. Could we end up with a "gap and trap" the bulls?
AAPL: start taking your short position (1/2) in AAPL right now above 89
Beanie,
XING up .23 point pre market !
Check it out. Somethings going on

EFUT up in premarket on news of new contract with J&J in China.
AAPL:
Steve Jobs probably made the biggest mistake of his life over a mere $21 million dollars options backdating!
$21 --> $18 x 7.5 million shares = $21 million.
What an idiot.
I respect the guy but that is foolhardy.
Stupid stupid stupid. Reminds me of some of the Deal or No Deal contestants! Yikes!!
Even billionaires CAN be fools!
Don't fall asleep on SEED. The next move is going to be powerful once it takes out the resistence at mind $11.
go AAPL go down!!!
Shut up, CNBC Bob Pisani!! This morning's huge selloff is very meaningful! Something must be amidst.
This is a scary drop. I think we are starting a correction.
If AAPL gets back to the high 86. Short some more.
DIVX: looks kinda oversold but i'm not sure you wanna be in tech just yet.
AAPL: ok, i covered some shorts.
Very tired now. See ya tomorrow!
SGTL: may have bottomed

Hi board,
Wow!! What happened to the board??
Its getting smaller everyday...
Xing: Been long since last year and its paying off nicely. Will hold unitl their sister company "CECT" goes public and I think xing will be trading between 25-30$ range.
XNN: Been rebounding nicely also. I never thought it would drop below 2s so I bought more (alot more)and now I'm on the plus side. I believe you won't see this price after the CC. Good Luck
MPEL: Still a buy here. You can double within 6-8 months....

I think Cramer is really confused about tech. lol
Cramer is just really confused this time. Sell all tech but buy his 5 favorite tech leaders? Totally moronic. Only the leaders can take the techs down, and that is exactly what the five leaders are doing!! lol
Dear Anonymous,
I noticed you posted about XING today. I'm in the stock too! When do you believe ssister comp. will join or we'll see a huge pop to 17.00 or 18.00?
Pamfla
Like XNN Too!!! LOL
I'm not sure who is more of a Schizo Cramer or Beanie.

Stevie Wonder Jobs. What a fool. A billionaire already and this $21 million dollar scandal gonna be a big thorn.
($21 backdated to $18 * 7.5 million shares = $21 million )
That's what Martha Steward did too. She was worth several hundred million dollars and she had to illegally sell stock for like a couple hundred thousand. Why? Why? Why???????
Are these people out of their minds?
You have got to own a Mac! Once you do , you just won't go back!

Allchin
.....
The e-mails mark the second set of conversations exhibited in the trial in which Allchin, a 16-year Microsoft veteran, expresses concern about competition with Apple products. In a 2004 e-mail to Chairman Bill Gates and CEO Steve Ballmer made public during opening arguments in December, Allchin criticized Windows and said ``I would buy a Mac today if I was not working at Microsoft.''
Allchin at the time was leading development of Longhorn, the code name for Windows Vista, which reaches stores Jan. 30. Allchin, who is retiring after Vista is released, referred to Longhorn as ``a pig'' and said ``we have lost our way.''
AAPL:
There is a possibility that this Steve Jobs' scandal could turn for the worse. I also believe it is politically motivated. Al Gore is a Director of Apple and he oversaw the internal investigation that found no wrongdoing. The Bush Administration would like no more to embarrass Al Gore, and hence the democrats, before the 2008 election. jmho
Definitly Cramer - BOOOOOOOOOYA
He drinks tons of coffee, kinda cute. LOL Anyway, XING, that is my only play right now. Need XING to go above $16.00 tomorrow...
Any takers? Beanie ??? feedback please...
Thanks, Pamfla
pamfla,
XING still trending higher.
