The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. DIVX ready to climb!

DIVX closed @ 23.97

DIVX is my best trade recommendation for Monday. Buy no more than a 50 cent gap up, else wait for a possible morning dip for entry.

PFSW looks like it's also ready to bust a move. I want you to start taking 1/2 off near $2 or the high 1's and no later. This stock has been on a riproaring tear. A correction is due. It could happen 2-4 weeks later, or it may go alot higher before the correction happens. I sure don't know, but as long as you take at least 1/2 off near $2, you can sleep like a baby.

You do the same with FORG, although this looks like it could take out the $2 easily next week. Decide when you wanna take 1/2 off and then do it. Maybe at $2, maybe at $2.5. Let the stock action dictate when you sell 1/2.

Beanie, with the overall market going down, the sell off is very broad based. 1300 advancers to 4400 decliners. December was the start of the adv/dec. line starting to go down. All world markets are going down as well - German DAX, Japan etc. are all going down. Last time this happened was in early May.
Where do you think the market is headed short term?

gosu,

I think the markets are due for some type of correction (maybe in January) before we can move higher. I expect a short term correction and then a rip roaring bull run that will destroy all the shorts this year.

gosu,

i don't care much for world markets. I only watch the US markets. World markets could correct in a big way but i think the US markets should hold and continue to rally this year.

gosu,

If that nasdaq 2400 holds (which i think it will) i would hardly consider that a correction. lol

Beanie,

What do you think of the Casino stocks? Do you think WYNN, LVS, HET, can go any higher?

I'm thinking of selling my WYNN and moving over to MPEL.

anonymous,

I like WYNN alot but if it doesn't take out and close above 98 soon, a short term correction could be at hand.

This weekend I started preparing for the tax season for 2006 and WOW the commissions can take a chunk of profits. I must be overtrading but I will not stop daytrading or short swinging.

I keep telling myself to find a online broker with lower commissions but waited due to the fact that I have only been trading for 1 1/2 yrs and wanted to see if this was for me. I am currently paying $7.99/trade but was wondering if anyone has any feedback with LowTrades or ChoiceTrade or any lower commission broker.

Would be nice to cut my commission down to 40% - 50%.

Sorry Beanie for taking up the space on this blog but just curious if others have some advice.

beanie -

do you see any long-term holds for either FORG or PFSW?

the more DD i do on PFSW, the more i am realizing how undervalued this stock is

if holiday sales numbers are reported as good for PFSW's retail website (ecost.com), then this stock could really fly

PFSW creates alot of revenue per share (over $10/share) & its price per sales is a VERY PALTRY $0.14 (i believe industry avg. is close to $1.25)

i see alot of opportunity here

if holiday sales are good & the next ER is good as well, i don't think $8-10 is too far off here

your thoughts, beanie??? or anyone else???

can someone else back up my DD & make sure i'm looking/analyzing this right???

Pamfl,

Just read your post and saw you sold xnn. I wish you could of held on to it just a litle longer. I know you like to double down and this is one of those stocks that I would love to double down on!!!!!

Here is my 2007 speculative stock:
XNN,DKAM,KRY,TRMM,AGIX to name a few. My favorite is XNN and TRMM is the least favorite. KRY and agix is very risky due to the permit and phrase III result. Kry will double if they get the permit and you know if they don't. Agix could easily go to the 20s if the results are positive.

MPEL: also like this stock at least till april-may when they open their casino. It should be trading in the 30s by the time of the grand opening.

FFHL: Made some quick money on this and I am waiting to re-enter if it dips in the low 13s.

USG: Still love this stock...But this is for the long term 1-2 years at least.

NYX: This is a "money making machine"...if you didn't get in last week when it dipped in the low 90s, I would wait for another dip.

I hope we can all be prosperous in 2007!

Van_G,

As long as you take 1/2 off the table on a big rise in PFSW, then you'll be fine, no matter what happens to PFSW in the longer term.

Beanie,

I just read your post on DKAM and I guess I was one of the fools. I would wait for a better entry point though. I see this 5-6 by year end if not earlier. Not only is dkam trying to go national, they have Mr Trump in one hand and rumors of a possible buyout in the other which means $$$$$$$$.

Please do your own homework first...wish me luck

OPBL:

This is the only otcbb garbageland stock i would consider buying. OPBL offers an options trading platform for crude and natural oil. The company is growing at a fast clip and is profitable, and as soon as it gets to $5 and stays above it the stock will move to a new exchange.

Intermediate to longer term trade.

DKAM I am also one of the fools. KP mentioned this one in the $1.40's and it's been very strong since. Sold some of original position but holding some.

Mon Jan 08, 09:09:00 AM EST
Blogger beanie11111 said...

anonymous,

no problem if you bought DKAM at 1.40 and sold 1/2 at 3.

I just don't think it's a good idea to buy at $3, especially when mr. Trump doesn't even drink. The hype can only last so long.
