The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. The reason i don't want you to get in if you can't get out quickly is if something goes wrong is that ZVUE can still go down towards 3.

Just take a half-position or a smaller position at least if you want in with the assumption that you can buy more lower. It's worked fine for me so far with SIGA, SCLN, HTI, AOB and, hopefully ONSM, although I had already traded ONSM for a profit in the 3's. JMO.

SNTO is a buy for a bounce after New Year and as an investment for the longer term. Company has cut costs, is growing revenue, and should be profitable nest year. Add that to a thin float and the ingredients are all there for a big winner. Now is the time to buy it, not yesterday as someone else on this board was saying.

Beenie,

I just posed this on another blog and waiting for a feed back. Just wanted to get your opinion also.

SMDI:
-----
SMDI has made a come back in the past two days 7.90 right now from 7.3 two days ago. Short interest data released and it is higher than last month data. About 20% of the float and will take 7 days to cover. Forbes has SMDI as a strong play for 2007 (one of their top picks for the chip sector including qcom and intc is SMDI ... good to have SMDI with such huge/big guys!!). I know you sold SMDI at 8.8 and did you get back in again in the low 7's? With a very lean PEG of just .6's, and growth expected to be about 20% for the next few years, do you think SMDI is a good buy again? Right now, SMDI is by far my largest position and I am thinking of adding more and hence asked. If you have not made any home work on SMDI, I would request you to do some so we all can benefit if it will fly much higher in 2007.

GROW:
-----
I saw this at 14.65 when someone said it is very cheap. Last year when I looked at it, it was at 52week high and I did not buy and I am kicking myself for not buying it at that time. Is it a good short at these levels?

LMRA:
-----
Is it really a good buy from here? What is your target price from here that it will reach before summar?

ZVUE:
-----
ZVUE was up from 1 to high 7's and then down from there to high 3's. Is this bottom and will go up for a short term trade or wait for some more time? Ok, anyway, what is the long term prospects of it? I heard this company is owned by the brother of GOOG owner. Was that true?

I value your opinion or thoughts more than Crammer or anyone else for that matter from wall street!

Thanks for your time and reply.

Anand.

For the market being close that long, we could use a break. And it could result into more people wanting to buy, and hopefully price will go up or there will be more volume, hence; good trading day. OK? You got to be patient.
I am losing $1200 on my ONSM todate. But like anything else, it will eventually go up, maybe not as much as you expect....keep cool, and good luck on wednesday trade.

Sun Dec 31, 12:13:00 PM EST

The trick is if you intend to hold for a longer than a day or 2- play small, so you can sleep a little bit better. Otherwise unload even for a small profit. When EFUT was just an ipo, I just got 100 @ 11.54. I just let it ride, up to 43 and sold it to 39.

But I think CPSL price will hold for awhile, maybe because of January effect or there might be more interested in it. China Companies have this inherent advantage of large pool of cheap labor. And most analyst I read have continued their upbeat assessment on China's economy and business.

Beanie:

IFON has had bad press recently so I would be on guard.

The complaint alleges that defendants made false and misleading statements regarding certain of the Company's warrants, which were improperly ``marked to market'' in violation of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (``GAAP''). After being ``marked to market,'' the warrants remained booked as a liability at the end of the quarter ended March 31, 2006, when they should have been reclassified as equity as of February 17, 2006, the date upon which the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (``SEC'') declared the Company's Form S-3 effective, thereby registering the shares underlying the warrants. The immediate result was to artificially inflate the Company's net income results for the quarterly period ended March 31, 2006, a condition that remained uncorrected until the end of the Class Period. Finally, on June 12, 2006, the Company revealed that it had restated certain portions of the financial statements for the quarter ended March 31, 2006. On this news, the price of Infosonics' stock fell from $24.22 to $17.05, a drop of $7.17, on more than three times the normal trading volume.

Our next pick is SEED. This play came up on our radar as the next Chinese momentum play. The stock has double bottomed over the past three months and appears to have stabilized and ready to move on the next news.

"ABOUT ORIGIN -- Founded in 1997, Origin specializes in the research, development, production, sale and distribution of hybrid corn, rice and cotton seeds in China. The Company owns or leases facilities in, among other locations, Beijing, Gansu, Henan, Helongjiang, Liaoning, Jilin, Hainan and Sichuan provinces, and also has an office in San Diego, CA. Origin launched its first entirely internally developed seed in 2003 and in 2004 introduced two new proprietary corn hybrids to the market. In 2005 Origin had three new proprietary corn hybrids and one new proprietary cotton hybrid approved by the government registration office in China. Origin anticipates that it will introduce close to 49 new proprietary products into the Chinese government testing and approval cycle in 2006."

The float is only 9 million shares and the company is buying back $10 million dollars of stock.

For the Six Months Ended June 30, 2006, net income rose to $13.5 million or $0.57 per share on revenues of $65.3 million from $5.2 million net income and $25.2 million revenue from a year ago.

Our Recommendation: Buy shares of Origin Agritech Limited (SEED) at or near $11 and place a stop loss of 10% below your purchase price.

Target $20.
