TRMM closed @ 2.30
I bought some this morning/afternoon at 2.04. Sorry i didn't post this sooner. I just wasn't sure if i wanted to make this an official recommendation.
The major reason why i like this stock right now is because i found out that Seth Klarman, fund manager of Baupost Fund, bought over 1 million shares 3 months ago at average $4. Mr. Klarman is a respected deep value fund manager. He now has over 2.4 million shares which he paid alot higher ($3-$9) than the current price.
The catalyst for the recent runup was due to mr. Thomas Ko (you remember him don't you?) recommending it at $1.60 and giving it a $6 target.
Short, intermediate, to longer term play.
This is obviously a very speculative stock.

OPTM: i am pretty confident it will get to 1 billion market cap. It's at 650 million right now. You do the math.

I almost sold rest of my shares today because it look like it was dipping. Sure glad i didn't and Im even more confident since you mentioned it. I bought some when Jspade mentioned it and he thinks this stock could see 5 or 6 long term.
Do you feel the same? Would appreciate your comment on this.

TRMM: I don't want anyone here to buy this above the recommended price, and certainly not above $2.50 . If you do, i can't help you and you'll probably end up holding the bag like you did with XNN.

ESCL is a stock that you probably don't want to dump too much at. Internal investigation found nothing wrong (no suprised there! lol) but the SEC is still investigating. Additionally, ESCL already sold off a unit (the stamps?) just last year.

i think it's worth the risk. But you can take 1/2 off if it makes you sleep better. It should make you sleep a whole lot better if you take 1/2 off, or 1/3 off.
SIGA: the thing about this move is i feel it can see $6. I may be wrong. That's why i want ya to take 1/2 or 1/3 off sooner rather than later. There's still 30 minutes left..let it run into the close and see what happens afterhours. Then take some off the table.

TRMM- this one is highly speculative-more likely to go sideways or even go down.It's losing money, could not even generate enough cash flow. Can't see any potential for growth on this one.

What do you think about SMDI. Was down and down for the last two weeks and down from $9.3 to about $7.7 now. No bad news from the company and SMDI is earing around 60cents this year and may be same or little better next year. PE of only about 13 or less and PEG of .6 or less.
Is it a good buy and hold for the next year? Lot of growth prospects!
What is your take on SMDI?

Regarding SMDI, there is very strong support in the low 7's. You can add to your position there.
Note that SMDI is not a Beanie Recommendation, so i haven't done any research on it.

Is this Deja Vu' all over again in Mama.com (MAMA)?
Two years ago the stock of mama.com went soaring over a period of a month only to crash and burn. Class actions were filed that tied mama.com to notorious stock promoter Irving Kott.

Just last month (November 16, 2006), the company settled this class action lawsuit for multi millions of dollars. And now, deja vu. Since the most recent announcement of the adding of a video search component(only in beta format based on text tags like everyone else), the stock of MAMA.com has risen over 300% on investor euphoria.
With a market cap of $100 million, Mama.com has a net cash position of around $5 million, hardly enough to compete in the search space and has recorded 3 month revenues of last quarter of a paltry $1.8 million, down 20% from the same three months a year ago. The company has lost $4.7 for the last nine months and shows no signs of recovery.
Last time this happned the SEC started an informal inquiry into their trading, and traders must beware of the dangers facing shareholders.

Mama is a notorious PIPE issuer and will likely use the recent rise in stock price to raise money. When the stock market starts looking like a casino for daytraders and momentum players, it is normally time to take chips off the table.
