The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns.
I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. anonymous,
yes it's a breakout at AMD.
bye now
Back to SOFO....thats 2 months to a year? Anything with a more immediate term return?
Beanie,
XNN beginning to rally
Yippeeee...Also ZVUE please goooooooooooooo higher LOL
Pamfla
XNN: fear not the dips. Just buy more (and sell some on the rise). You can make a living doing that. You and I know that XNN is headed alot higher longer term.
JST caught my first bounce on XNN...Thanks Bennie, et al.
Rambo
That would be Beanie...my bad. I'm new here.
Rambo
SOFO: Why am i so excited about this company after doing some more research? Here's why: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/061114/latu081.html?.v=75
$10 first target.
NUAN: our baby finally moving higher on Citicorp upgrade today. This company has huge potential.
any idea ... is XNN bottemed at this level ?
Beanie ..do you really think XNN might go down to $2 before rebound !!
Ouch! ZVUE looking horrible at close.
Bad finish with ZVUE....
I guess Beanie was right, this bad boy need some type of news before it pops.
JSPADE
Beanie or the Board,
I'm a newb so this might be a dumb question so please bare with me.
What happens to a stock the next day if that stock has climbed over 60 to 70% in a day? I'm talking about DECT. it seem like everyone was selling towards the end.
thank you
JSPADE
ZVUE did end poorly but I hope it pops up soon. Want to buy tomorrow, ya think?
Pamfla
Pamfl,
Maybe we can use all our earnings from XNN to buy some more ZVUE!!!
response to DECT:
People sell to lock in profits on huge days like DECT had.
Just yesterday, PGLA was up as high as 195% in one day! In the final 2 hours, it dropped to 135% or so.
Today, it dropped another 20%.
It wouldn't shock me if DECT loses 10-15% tomorrow. Then again, if it's like EFUT, it may continue to climb day after day. EFUT was a new IPO though.
You said... "EFUT was a new IPO though" as opposed to what, an old IPO...LOL....JST kidding.
Yep, there were more sellers than buyers at the end of the day as one would expect. The momo guys are going to bail and take profits as a lot can happen betwixt now and the market opening and most of it bad. It's like me today...I caught the XNN for .12 cents and bailed. Never looked back. True longs hate us.
The bulls and the bears on AMD. Any comments, thoughts anyone:

Did anyone trade FORG today- .90 to 1.33 close at 1.23. That's 33% gain from yesterday's close of .91.
Pamfl,
In regards to ZVUE, I'm not sure if you should buy more or not. It all depends on how much you have invested already and at what price.
I only got in because I was bottom fishing. You never know what tommorrow will bring.
JSPADE
SGV,
I have been watching FORG also, I am in at 1.06 and had a sell set at 1.40, but it did not hit. Looking at the afer hour trades that may have been a good thing.
I have learned alot here and this week has been a real teacher.
My plans are to set up a stable of free share as our master is trying to teach us.
Later,
Lee
Lee.
I was able to buy at .98 and waited to see it up to 1.38..... I'll try again tomorrow.
Also RVBD and DIVX loooks like they're
coming back. Been buying on dips lately. Goodluck tomorrow's trade everyone!
Hi JSPADE,
Regarding ZVUE, I'm in at the high for only like 300 shares...close to 6.50. now that it's 4.00, decent double down. today the volume was good, better than the last few days. Hoping XNN will cruise tomorrow too!!! See ya tomorrow...Pamfla
I really feel SOFO will go alot higher than it is now.

Charleston Area Medical Center expands Sonic Mediasites diabetes information to rural physicians
December 14th, 2006
(NewsRx.com) -- Sonic Foundry, Inc. (SOFO), provider of automated rich media communications technology, announced that Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) has expanded its use of the Mediasite web communications system from providing online seminars to the local medical community to delivering multimedia information statewide to every health professional and resident in the state of West Virginia.
As a largely rural state with the second highest diabetes rate in the United States, and one of the highest obesity rates, CAMC needed to provide convenient, online resources to both physicians and patients. More than 60% of the population of West Virginia is afflicted with either Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. In 2002, CAMC began using Mediasite to launch its Health e-Classroom, an online repository of rich media presentations geared toward consumers. The Center's staff saw immediate benefits, including increased access to medical knowledge, and began to explore other ways Mediasite could be used to improve the quality of care each patient receives.
Mediasite is a transformational communication medium for delivering critical information and sharing knowledge. The Mediasite webcasting and content management system automates the capture and delivery of presentations and lectures via the web.
"Studies have shown that because diabetes is a patient-controlled disease, patient education can have a dramatic impact on treatment costs as patients learn to take better care of themselves and the disease stabilizes," said Doug Young, media network specialist at Charleston Area Medical Center. "We wanted to offer an easily accessible source of information on the latest diagnoses and treatments to help combat this growing problem for patients and the physicians who treat them across every region in our state."
To improve the quality of training and continuing education programs, the Center created a web site devoted to educating West Virginia students, faculty, doctors and health professionals about the latest treatment and care options for diabetes, as well as palliative care, pain management and osteoporosis. Using Mediasite, CAMC experts create multimedia presentations for more than 7,000 rural family physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, regardless of location, to view live and on-demand.
Because the online presentations have been approved by the American Coalition of Medical Education (ACCME), health professionals can now receive their requisite continuing education credits by watching at their convenience without travel or scheduling conflicts.
"We are changing the paradigm of how medical education is being delivered," Young said. "The ACCME is able to easily review our Mediasite presentations to see first-hand how we are delivering content. Mediasite is making a significant difference in helping treat debilitating diseases like diabetes and ensuring medical professionals in remote areas are up-to-speed on all the latest advancements in their profession."
"Charleston Area Medical Center is a leader in embracing health information technology to improve professional education and patient care," said Rimas Buinevicius, chairman and CEO of Sonic Foundry. "The Center is part of a growing movement among our Mediasite customers to embrace new approaches for sharing medical information and reach new audiences with significant results. We are proud to be their partners in providing online communication tools for continuing medical education that hold the potential to truly transform the quality of health care in their region."
Established in 1972, the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) is a multiple hospital health system serving southern West Virginia. It features the premiere medical teaching facility in the state and has one of the top heart and diabetes programs in the nation. The Center is West Virginia's largest and most advanced medical center with more than 5,000 employees. As the flagship of the CAMC Health System, CAMC is a nonprofit, 893-bed, regional referral and academic medical center. CAMC has three Charleston locations: General Hospital, Memorial Hospital and Women and Children's Hospital.
Founded in 1991, Sonic Foundry is a technology leader in the emerging rich media communications marketplace, providing enterprise solutions and services that link an information-driven world. Sonic Foundry is changing the way organizations communicate via the web and how people around the globe receive vital information needed for work, professional advancement, safety and education.
Beanie,
This is the new kid on the block,

EPIX: someone asked me about this today. It is a good buy in the low to mid 7's for a day/swing trade.
Thanks I bought Epix a couple of days ago on you request. Where would you be selling? I'm sleeping usually when the market is moving. I live on a Pacific Island, a la Gilligan.
Also caught a good bump on slst. Where do you see this one going? It is a little down in after hours.
Thanks
Mary Ann
