The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns.
I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. AAPL continues to be a great stock to be in.
AMZN is absolutely the best internet stock to own for the longer term. $100 is already a foregone conclusion.
AMZN has only 26 billion market cap.
It deserves to have the same market cap as EBAY, which is at 47 billion.
That means AMZN is headed to $100-120
Mark this down:
AMZN will one day grow to as big as Walmart, and AMZN will eventually merge with EBAY.
Disclaimer: You ain't gettin no refund. Just my opinion.
Aw geez, Beanz, what did the nice Jones folks ever do to you?
(ggggggggggggggggggggggg)
__________________
Why do you think Amazon should have the same market cap as EBAY? Are their margins similar? Growth rates?
There's a lot of sellers on the internet, and while I will admit AMZN has great first mover advantage and a really top notch buying experience... it's not exactly the most defensible business in the world.
Ebay, otoh, because it's now at the hub of the "start your own merchandising bidness" craze (which will continue as technology allows us all to unite virtually) has got some serious moat protecting its franchise.
I like AMZN, and I use them, but when I drill down, there's not much special there that can't be imitated (and is).
(Disclaimer: I own neither, am short neither)
jake - you get any on BOOM on the way up today? I booked 97k in profits and then bought more back AH. the AH action seemed feigned. low volume short manipulation. Bet they are scrambling to buy calls in the morn. You;d know more about that than me though. I'm a dummy on options. anyway, hope you got a piece.
How about CSIQ for a cheap solar stock? It'll be over $18 in a few weeks.
Beanie,
If I understand you correctly, your recommending JSDA. Now how many shares cause I want to add more to small position. Three days
is a good sign?
Pamfla
What do you folks think about akam at this price? I personally think Jsda could head down to retest 21 and 22 before moving up, but no doubt will hit 40 eventually.
Jet
This is why you shouldn't own CSIQ over any other solar stock, ANON please don't pump crap here
'There are three pure-play solar cell and/or panel makers with market caps between $100 million and $1 billion: Evergreen Solar (ESLR: 10.42, -0.31, -2.9%), based in Marlboro, Mass.; Canadian Solar (CSIQ: 12.13, -0.07, -0.6%), a Chinese company incorporated in Canada; and Solarfun Power (SOLF: 16.14, -0.59, -3.5%), a Chinese company that trades via American depositary receipts, or ADRs. Canadian Solar and Solarfun are among the companies that went public in the last five months.
Of the five pure-plays that went public in the last five months, Canadian Solar has the dubious distinction of being the only one to see its share price decline. Since its Nov. 9 debut, the stock is off 22% to $12.13 as of Tuesday's close, putting the market cap at $293 million. The Russell 2000 is up 7% over the same period. With a forward P/E of 22 and a price/sales multiple of more than 4, shares look rather rich compared to the broader market. By the price/earnings growth, or PEG, ratio, the shares do trade at a significant discount to the S&P 500. (PEG measures how expensive a company's shares are relative to its growth prospects.) Analysts' average recommendation stands at Hold.
The issue with Canadian Solar thus far is that it makes panels, not cells. Cell manufacturing is fairly complicated, not unlike making semiconductors. All a panel maker does is line up the cells on a table, connect the wires, slap a sheet of glass on top and an aluminum frame around the sides. "It's not tech at all," says Bush. "There are no barriers to entry and it's a very low value-added part of the supply chain."
More recently it didn't help that the company posted a wider-than-expected fourth-quarter loss in mid-March, as well as a revenue shortfall. Inventory write-offs, lower selling prices and retreating gross margin hurt results. To be fair, Canadian Solar is getting into cell manufacturing in order to improve its prospects. And although there's no shortage of competition in that space — and there is a shortage of silicon — analysts like what they see so far. "

JASO, SOLF are the plays, along with FSLR, STP and SPWR.
Big Solar daddy WFR ugly tonight will put downward pressure on all Solar plays tomorrow.....
Bill
Beanie, time to own Nasdaq puts?
Beanie, WFR is down a lot after hour. Their earning report looks OK. What is your opinion? Is it a good buying opportunity tomorrow? Thanks in advance.
anon,
No i don't think WFR is a good buy tomorrow, especially when the market looks toppy here.
Next stop is 58 and if that breaks, going to 45.
Bill, kinda new to investing, but please explain the relationship between WFR and the solar plays Alok posted. Thanks in advance.
Mark
gosu,
i would think QQQQ puts for June is a good idea as a hedge. I own some but still playing mostly from the long side until it really changes.
AAPL:
if we get the market correction, this stock could see 90. But will finish at an all time high later this year.
jakegint,
AMZN's first mover advantage and the logistics of their shipping program makes them the absolute behemoth of the online retail space, like GOOG is to search. Many competitors have tried to compete with AMZN and they all failed - Walmart, Google's Froogle, Overstock, BestBuy, Circuit City, etc. AMZN is also moving into other areas like movie downloads.
AMZN also has auctions, like EBAY. Even though EBAY has much more auctions and higher margins than AMZN (and both companies started out at about the same time), AMZN is actually doubling EBAY's revenues. EBAY's online auction actually isn't growing that much and i think it's actually maturing. EBAY has to resort to other businesses for growth - like their PayPal and Skype. Alot of people get excited about EBAY and open an account, but after awhile they don't even buy or sell on EBAY anymore, mainly because they don't want to waste time and they don't trust the sellers or the buyers, as the case may be. People who shop at AMZN tend to be more lifetime members, at least more so than those at EBAY.
EBAY is not growing their auctions very much anymore. All they can do is raise prices on their listings. AMZN, on the other hand, is growing extremely fast with their retail online sales. This is why i believe AMZN will get to at least EBAY's market cap, and will eventually surpass it. Retailing has virtually unlimited growth (like Walmart) while auctions does have limited growth (there's only so many people throwing their trash around - Law of the Conservation of Matter? - and only so many to buy those trash and use it and resell it).
I want to make the correction that AMZN indeed does NOT have auctions, although they allow members to sell used items.
jake you idiot ebay isin't hard to imitate eigther (and is). This isin't the jake11111 board.
Anon, i think Ebay is a little hard to immitate. 5 yrs back you had Ubid.com and a few other such sites but they've all gone out of business since, only Ebay stands. I forget there was one auction site for B2B autions and it also went of business (the name was free something).
putting up a site is not biggie, getting the traffic and clicks are, which is why EBAY, AMZN, GOOG are so successful. IMHO.
speaking of EBAY, AMZN anyone notice the spike in OSTK (another EBAY like although its not autions, but a dog in my opinion), looks like it might be a good short.
Good news for all MDII holders -
7:01PM MDI receives first order for strategic U.S. naval support center project in Europe (MDII) 1.55 -0.33 : Co announced that it has received the first of several purchase orders as the Co's part of a $1 mln security modernization project for a U.S. naval support center located in Europe. MDI products were chosen by the prime contractor on this project to unify access control, alarm management and video surveillance across the naval support activity operating location.
Wow MSFT great results, should have a saluatory effect on tech. QQQQ calls anyone?
~V
beanie, can you list your top 20 stocks [in the best to not so best order] if they could be bought now and held for atleast a year. Thnx.
V you crack me up, weren't you sitting mostly in cash till now.
everyone is running to get puts and you want to buy calls. lol contrarian indeed :)
Well that sucks i was pondering my OPBL.OB situation this morning but figured that i could wait till friday morning to hope in at a better price because of the recents low volume horrible trading that was going on. But i will hop in probably tomorrow morning first thing im guessing its going to test new highs when earnings come out on Tuesday probably going to be another blowout i love this stock. Still pissed should've just pressed the button this morning tryed to press my luck.
elmyko1
stocky,
I think 5-8 stocks is already too many stocks to buy and hold for retail investors. I like the following, with AMZN being the best.
AMZN
EBAY
GOOG
ISRG
ADBE
GRMN
CELG
CRM
JSDA
Fund manager Bill Miller finally had a negative year last year, but this year he will more than make up for it with his AMZN.
stocky,
i forgot about AAPL, placing it second to AMZN
Beanz,
I agree with all your comments save the part about EBay selling "junk" back and forth. Ebay sells more new merchandise than AMZN, and will continue that trend. Did you miss my point about them being the hub of the new "At home" merchandising trend? They are like a SuperFriggenWalmart for every mousehole retailer in the world, save now they are dealing with $25mm companies that started out in people's garage. See last month's "Entreprenuer" magazine.

Otherwise, you have a nice day.
Beanz not a single solar play in that list?
BTW -- AMZN is a short squeeze play right now. When the air's out of that bag, it will return to the mean.
alok,
i didn't want to add the solar plays is because there's several of them and they are kinda indistinguishable from one another, and they are not established businesses even though they are making money hand over fist.
But yes, i believe solar stocks are gonna rocket this year.
A basket of FSLR, SPWR, STP, WFR, TSL is a good idea.
Thanks beanie.
hey -- this board has become a lot of fun with jakegint and his crappl and other crazy comments --is "mark" the old marktherat??-- beannie do you still have dndn i have read many new articles and still don't know what to think - i am sure you read news today
BIDU is pretty amazing.
richard,
I can't say i'm hot on DNDN at this point. I have already taken my profits and have moved on to AMZN.
stocky,
i am moving ADBE up the list, near EBAY.
Sell off of GDP news? or will the rally carry on. Dow to 13600 in no time before it relaxes?
MSFT, BIDU, AMZN, AAPL - great earnings. Cant find any other reason to sell of than profit taking.
You are a complete moron to buy AMZN here, one downgrade already and more to come. You can get this stock way lower, along with its lofty P/E. Beanie, your out of your mind right now, people be careful with his picks. Look out below with todays GDP.
Almighty Anon
"buy AMZN" - makes me laugh.

AA
Beanie and Board,
R Earnings coming out this afternoon for JSDA?
Pamfla
There it is....GDP, 1.3. Now that's bad. Good luck with your overvalued solar plays.
AA
Craapl, down near a buck, same with AMZN.
Wonder if they'll spin the low GDP blues into the rate cut highs...
Stifel Nicolaus downgrades AMZN due to valuation.
Who else thinks that AMZN will go down from here ? :)
Dimitry
JSDA:
UPCOMING EVENTS:
First Quarter Earnings Release scheduled for May 3rd at 1:00pm PT. Live audio webcast of Earnings Conference Call to follow at 1:30pm PT.
That means we should at least get some type of an earnings run up to that day.
Obviously, it's time to get out of AMZN for short term.
BIDU is on fire.
Dimitry, AMZN will go down, any broker or analyst that pumps this thing at its current PPS should be put in jail. The only buying you saw yesterday, especially late in the day, was solely short covering. This could get ugly real fast.
AA
WFR:
it's ok to buy it. I think the 50dayMA will hold. Solar stocks are just too strong a theme.
JSDA about to bust a move ?
It has bottomed.
JASO profiled in IBD's New America.

I think I will buy some QQQQ for my IRA account.
AMZN a good short here short term?
OPBL moving a lot in pre-mkt
Draw the fibs on AAPL from the 2/27 low to yesterday's high, and you'll see that the gap up started almost exactly at the 38.2% retrace line (@ 95.20). Incredible. AAPL should definitely visit it's first (23.6%) fib line at 97.80, and will likely get a bounce there (and I'll cover some as well).
But I think it's not unlikely that the gap to the second fib retrace will be filled as well. Maybe even today?
(One can hope, can't one?)
GOSE-- IRA's long term bets only. You telling us you think the Q's are a good long term bet here?
You may be right, I just think there's better timing plays available for good solid long termers.
UPS, for example.
QQQQ calls anyone?
~V
Fri Apr 27, 12:52:00 AM EDT
Good call V.
SCHWEEET!!!!!
BOOM, if you're out there, any analysis on BOOM's earnings report?
Looked okay to me, but we're down $2.00 this morning?
(And no, I never got my calls filled yesterday, to answer your question. Maybe today though?)
I think one has to be encouraged by the results in MSFT, AAPL, AMZN, BIDU.
QQQQs are good conservative and long term plays on any dips.
Interesting... if you do a new fib line re-draw from the old lows (again, 2/27) to the most recent highs on QQQQ, and lay it over the old fib lines from before the breakout over the 100% retrace, the NEW first fib (23.6%) line is at the OLD 100% retrace point (or, the breakout pt., if you will)
Gose, granted.
But one must consider... with recent runups, are those results pre-baked?
(Maybe not with MSFT, but AAPL?)
Walst.--
You see we lost half a yen last night?
Not that that's huge in the bigger scheme, but if it's the start of a near term turn....
buying any company that as a lot of international exposure would be in your best interests.
AA
Beanz, JSDA bottom? No more trucks boss! Plenty of bags though...
Mark
Doink! There goes Craapl off it's first fib!
Yo Beanie Beanster
ITG is looking great at this level pre earnings. Earnings will be great I feel. Your thoughts since u love nyx and ice.
APA struggling at the $74 line...
AAPL wrestling with it's 23.6% first fib line... this is high drama, folks.
Lookat that sucker... right... on the... fib... line!
WAIT FOR CONFIRM!
Zee, do you plan to re-enter NYX?
A.
Arun:
No, according to Beanie, only freaking shorts are shorting AMZN :) LOL
Dimitry
AAPL near term resistance at 98.85... if it get past their on continuing volume...
Sorry, if it gets past "there" (98.85) should be good. It's at about 98.55 right now.
Here it goes again... remember NUVO from last night? Well it's down another nickel, and yet the May $5's have been bid up ANOTHER nickel?
WTF? It's only 15 contracts, but is it a loon out there?
CME oversold?
Jake--
Dollar is still maintaining above 119 Yen even with dated GDP news out this morning. Positive balance continues--
Geez, one thing you can say about the QQQQ's... DAMN they are liquid!
They'd probably trade this sucker in tenths of a cent if they could.
Hey beanie could i get your comments on OPBL.OB; are you playing it, are you going to play it, what do you think about the earnings coming up on tuesday.
elmyko1
all green lights at ADBE
Wal... which site do you use for currencies? ino.com?
CME and GROW looking oversold.
if GROW goes below 25.5 i'm getting some for a swing.
Beanz, looks like the market is finally following JSDA! Bottom=down less than a buck? Ouch...
jake - BOOM blew it out, but mgmt fucked up the conf call. they try so hard to manage expectations, they shoot themselves in the foot. i bet it bottoms at 31 over the next few weeks. a big contract announcement will come, and start the run up. I plan on minting another 100k over the next quarter! Ha! Thanks for taking interest in my pet stock.
Check out NVTL. SWIR killed estimates yesterday. NVTL will next week. If you are a gambling man, options are cheap.
Dan, more info on NVTL please.
This baby is doubled in the last 6 months. Is it too high for the expectation here?
A.
Beanz, looks like we will get our daily dose of down at least a dollar from the high in JSDA. Ready to call a new bottom? Feels pretty good to buy at every false bottom!
What do you guys read into this:
The Russell has stalled is in a downward trend while the Nasdaq is holding firm.
There seems to be a disconnect here.
So, either the Russell will catch up to Nasdaq, or the Nasdaq will have to come down and is overbought.
I think we will get the answer by May 2.
Cramer bought more NYX today for AA+.
SWEEEEET!!!!
My system just froze, at least JSDA can't fall any further until I reboot!

JakeGint: I meant to mention several weeks ago and forgot, since we seem to both use Fibs, I have used as a reference for a number of years, Robert Fischer's 1993 tome, "Fibonacci Applications and Strategies for Traders." Also, my humble personal observation: If you use the correct plots, what I call trading stocks like AMZN and AAPL really seem to hit these various Fib #'s over and over; so much that sometimes it is hard to believe how accurate they are. Obviously, all the sophisticated trading software of the big houses use them, which is somewhat self fulfilling; however, what is remarkable is that they then STILL work. Steven
$22.40 is the next Jones Soda false bottom!
Seriously, that's the 50% fib retrace line and there's a TON of support there are well from the 3/26 - 4/2 consolidation.
I'd wait for the bounce and get some there.
Steve, I am just in awe at what AAPL did off it's 23.6% fib today.
I mean it hit and stuck there like a Tiger Wood's nine iron to the pin.
Steve,
Speaking of that AAPL stick and bounce this morning, am I seeing what I want to see here, or am I seeing a bearish wedge off that bounce?
Jake, thanks for the fibs on JSDA. I will be looking to average down when that hits Monday? Have you seen MBLX today? I guess they are developing some new type of bag:)
Mark
Jake can you give the fibs on akam. TIA
My FFHL is up 5% today.... SWEEEET!!!

JakeGint: Re AAPL,hard to tell, but if you look at the last "island reversal" back in the period 1/9 to 1/18, the gap up on this last qtr's earnings, and then the gap down this a.m., me thinks it wants to close the pre earnings gap first, before marching back up. Bottom line, it does look a bit like a "bear-type wedge". If one ascribes to what Pristine Traders teaches, with this yesterday's jam down and continuation overnight, it seems to be "floating" (my term) back up a bit in order to get the next brutal short set up. Steven
JakeGint: Follow on re. AAPL; having said all that, I trade AAPL daily, and longer term, as soon as the uncertainty of Jobs continuation as CEO goes away (i.e., the govt. "no bills" him), this stock will rocket up. Remember the old trading addage, that once a stock hits 100, it usually goes, in short order up to 110, etc. Just random thoughts from an old trading fool. - Owyheetrader
JakeGint: One more thing, then I must go partake of my pablum, if the post earnings gap on AAPL was in fact a breakaway gap (could have been with the blowout earnings), then look for a continuation gap after the initial profit taking of post earnings announcement. This stock is an absolute wildcat, a worthy advisary to any trader... - Owyheetrader
i just can't beleive it's butter! My put on amzn actually worked. Xle too.

airlines were downgraded, but uaua and lcc look compelling
May 30 uaua

uaua , all good companies close the gap. Uaua gapped down at 37. so 37 is my target sell price. Uaua currently at 34.8. so may 30 call goes from 5.20/5.30 up to 7.00.
downside. Uaua drops a little further, before making a go at $37 target

Steve and Owyhee,
Thanks for your advisory on CrAAPL.
I will keep a tight rein on the rest of my puts.
Do you think Jobs is going to get "no billed," after the CFO copped last week?
If so, Bernie Ebbers is going to really have to wonder about his lawyer.
Anon
"JEF whisper is for forty something!"
Well you wish Mr. Whisper a happy birthday from all of us!
JakeGint: Re AAPL and Jobs, what I think, or surmise, is that our former VEEP would never have come out saying that the Board of AAPL acted responsibly as did Jobs, if he didn't have some type of inside govnmtl enforcement agency info. Also, from trolling various, reputable blogs, I get the distinct feeling that he (Jobs)will come out of it "clean". That is to say, it may ultimately go away due to the political and financial implications that would otherwise torpedo the stock and shareholders should he go to jail or be forced to resign. - Owyheetrader

jake WFR fib 48.8, top line 68.8, is 50%= 58.8? and whats 78%? , i think WFR test 78% fib. , before making a go at the gap price of 60. 58.3=50day

Cramer should put some of his $$$ into the next HANS, JSDA! Oh, not yet, it isn't quite $10 off it's recent high...

Loading up on QQQQ calls.... thanks gosu!!
Mark
Gosu: Remember that Cramer can't buy or sell "if he mentions or talks about a stock" for 5 days. All that pumping, and everyone asking him about it, has kept him from trading it. He has about 2000 shares including the 300 from today. He's down 10% on it, but because of his guidance (recommending to buy even when he is locked out) and reading this board, i'm only down 5.5% on my NYX.... :-/ He's still very bullish on NYX since the quarter didn't include any of the profits from Euronext.
I'm Down 11% on JSDA.. If it gets to the mid $22s, I'll have to double down hard.
oih is close to a top, next two days,162/163. xle top around 65. if the timing is right . first pullback on the dow is may 2 next wed...

The nail is in the coffin for AMZN, if it doesn't end good in the red, or closes green, I'll be expecting multiple downgrades come Monday. Good luck, pretty sick ride short or long.

Oh my, what has happened to this board??
Sue
Hi Board,
Beanie, what's up with JSDA? down like 1.00 something...
Hang in there?
Now what...
Pamfla
GMKT advertisement revenue up from $13.6M to $15.9M to $20.1M in the past 3 quarters. This is a company that combines the best features of GOOG, BIDU, AMZN, and EBAY all into one.
Last I heard, the Japan launch is coming really soon. The stock can go to $50 if the launch is successful.
Hey Beanie,
When do you think JDSA will bottom? It keeps going lower and lower. What's your support target?
Hi Maven,
Great question RE: JSDA...
continue to buy on Monday???
Pamfla
JSDA? i have it at 30 but when is earnings coming out?
All you Jones Soda queryers need to read through the comment thread, and then you'd know the best upcoming place to BUY.
JSDA:
Wow, i was off on this one. Not even a hint of a bounce. Probably so technically overbought thanks to Cramer. The analyst downgrade also took no prisoners. There's decent support at $22, but it could get to as low as $20 at the 50dayMA.
Earnings is coming up next week. I think some investors feel that switching to sugar cane actually might have hurt the quarter as the old products phased out and the new ones haven't really fully hit the shelves yet. We'll see. I will be long going into earnings.
Jake what do you mean false bottom and where do you think JSDA will finally bottom.

I recommended NCNC last week Friday and it nearly doubled since then! But not one word of thanks from anyone!!
No wonder all the good posters have already left this board.
Stevie
yo i am not upset about jsda i will wait it out!!! i have run out of money so i will just be watching i am holding jsda and usap i still have to decide what to do about dndn but i own apple and plan to keep it -- mark when jsda goes up you will make a bunch!!! i also have smsi and hope earnings will be good next week!!!!!
SWEET!!
Next big mover up is NVDA.
JSDA:
I suggest you don't go berserka on the stock if you're holding thru earnings.
The quarterly report may not be that great this coming week, now that they have to put in the expenses for the soda concentrates and for the tv ads.
by the way, it's time to short AMZN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe you guys were still trying to ride this JSDA thing. I don't pump or bash stocks much but I opened and closed another short position on it myself from when it broke thru those low candle tails on the 19th and 23d. GLTA

Didnt know it was you who recommended ncnc...THATS a great one,in at 55 out at 75...well done ..great pick
I give u one ready to break out as a gift...
CVM
cheers
Stevie,
Please don't leave! That chart you presented here last week was one of the best pre-breakout charts I've ever seen. I even bought the stock without knowing anything about it. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!
Sue
NOW Amazon is a short?
How's it going to catch up to EBAY going backwards?
Will JSDA go to 19.8 level before going up?
Don't say that! I already lost a bundle going in at 24 :-(
Jakegint,
you of all people should know i am refering to differing time frames regarding AMZN.
Short term overbought - hence a short term short.
Long term a great investment - and will catch up and surpass and buyout EBAY.
AMZN:
It is very ripe for a short.
1) Citigroup downgrade
2) Gained 50% in less than 1 week
3) Market looks toppy here
4) Fastmoney guys gives a two thumbs down sell.
5) Short covering should be done soon, if not already.
AMZN going down short term.
JSDA:
if it makes ya feel better, know that you're in good hands.

Hi Board and Beanie,
Oh shi##@@&&t Beanster, JSDA was going well for a while...MAN. when do actual earnings come out?
CRAMER IS A MOTHER F_____R for Mother's Day...do we continue to buy or not? Board, Let's hope for a better week...Pamfla
Pamfla,
stay away from jsda for awhile.overbought.will NOT rebound imo soon.
You guys heard of QLD?
Its inverse of QID. I think it is a very safe investment on any dips. I will be buying it for all my long term accounts.
The chart looks fantastic.
I agree with you, Gosu, re. QLD; however, very short term, particularly if this market sells off next week, be very cautious of the graveyard doji that formed on the daily chart yesterday. FWIW - Thanks, Owyheetrader
I will be buying QLD on all dips.
GMKT is the next great short squeeze.
1 million shares shorted and only 7 million shares float.

ANONYMOUS,
GEEEEEEZ, I have to serious scroll to get to post # 187 to answer you. beanie, please start another column, you know BLUE POST.
You feel JSDA is overbought. should I take a loss and try to regroup to another play?
Pamfla
Pamfla,
Use Ctrl+end next time to get to the end of the page.
Richard,
I am holding my DNDN and will only sell a small lot after approval will hold most of it for over a year to reduce my tax. The more I read the more I am convinced Provenge has real potential for cancer treatment better than the conventional treatment. I have added more shares. Now have 1680 shares and plan to buy more on every dips. Good Luck!
thanks for the post on dndn sgv -------------------------------------
i guess i will hold jsda for long term ***news-- on the back page of the walmart ad they are advertising jones soda at 2.77 every day price in sugar-free or with sugar cane!!!
ALOK,
You da Man..what's going on for Mon.? do I hold JSDA for damage control down like 1.00 from where I bought...or try to circumvent loss with another purchase?
Pamfla
"circumvent loss"???
Are you the real Pamfla??
LMAO!!
JSDA stop at 21.9 level. If triggered, reenter at 19.8 level.
Hi Board,
Made a boo -boo. Miami Heat just got SWEEPED by Chicago...oh well.
Pamfla
tell Beanie to make a recomm. for tomorrow, CTRL AND END did not work...
Pamfla
here is what i think of jsda beanie is right -- at some time in the near future it will bring $50 a share so shouldn't you keep some long term for the huge gain that you will have from holding some????
Where's my boy Wal with the evening Yen Report?
Prolly reviewing his teams' draft picks like I've been doing all weekend... sigh.
Anyway, looks like we're pushing towards 120 yen to the dollah again...
Someone asked me to do the fibs on AKAM (one of my favorite shorts over the last year), and I'm sorry I was remiss in getting back to you.
I will check with my other software tomorrow, but using my stockcharts tools, I took the last cycle from the late August trough at the last resistance point to the peak in mid February 2007, and ran the fibs on those two points. We just ran through the last retrace 61.8% line last week, and it looks like this sucker may touch that line one more time at $45.71 before dropping all the way back down to the 100% retrace (and heavy support) at $37.10 or so...
Hope that's helpful. I may short this sucker again next week, btw.
Hi Beanie & Board,
There's so much talk about JSDA...
Are there any other pick?
Once I sell JSDA, it will start moving up...
Pamfla
pamfla if it takes you selling jsda to get it to go up --- be my guest i have a lot of shares with an average of 27.50 and don't want to take such a huge loss and i am out of money too!!!!!
