I didnt post about NVTL yesterday I dont think but I have in the past.
I am holding 13 calls on it and I am not worried. The stock went down because of Sierra Wireless news with AT&T.
Creates a nice buying opp before earnings nothing more than that.
One more thing about DAL.WI... if you do decide to play this, make sure you get out before next Wednesday when the shares go live. There will be a lot of selling pressure when the creditors get their shares.
NYX posts its earnings release at 2am, conference call at 8. I hope it flys but I will buy more if it sells off.

Gold falls as dollar rebounds, oil declines

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures fell sharply Thursday, pressured by a rebound in the dollar against major currencies, while crude-oil prices posted losses, failing to underpin the precious metal.
Gold for June delivery fell $9.50 to $677.90 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange. On Wednesday, gold futures fell 30 cents to close at $687.40 an ounce.
A rise in the dollar diminished gold's appeal as an alternative investment. The greenback gained across the board Thursday, after sliding to a near all-time low against the euro in the prior session. The euro was last down 0.3% at $1.3601, while the dollar was up 0.6% at 119.37 yen.
"With option expiration complete, the scale of above market resistance is likely to be reduced in the coming sessions, although further institutional sales are expected," said James Moore, metals analyst at TheBullionDesk.com.
"The current period of consolidation has been healthy though, taking some of the heat out of the market," Moore said.
Crude-oil futures declined early Thursday, after Iran said it was approaching a "united view" with the European Union on resolving tensions around the Mideast country's nuclear program. Crude for June delivery fell 49 cents to $65.35 a barrel in electronic trade. See Futures Movers.
Other metals prices also posted losses. May silver fell 28.0 cents to $13.480 an ounce. July platinum declined $13.20 to 1304.0 an ounce, June palladium fell $7.90 to $375.15 an ounce and May copper down 6.8 cents to $3.5180 a pound.
On the supply side, gold warehouse stocks were unchanged at 7.68 million troy ounces as of late Wednesday, according to Nymex data. Silver supplies were unchanged at 129.4 million troy ounces, while copper supplies fell by 147 short tons to 34,793 short tons.

I don't think AAPL will behave like AMZN... What happened to AMZN is not typical, I think - look at GOOG and EBAY - they are exactly on the same numbers as before earnings.

it's never a good idea to buy calls when a stock like AAPL gaps up that much. Play the stock instead.
JSDA hit exactly off it's 50% fib on the INTERIOR (3/8 to 4/16) fibs, (23.50) and is now bonking it's head exactly on the 38.2% EXTERIOR (2/28 to 4/16) fib line at 24.82... these things are farking spooky, mon.

I'm not gonna call a bottom on Jones like ole Beanz, has. Not yet. I do agree that it's only pulling back here, though, and if you're in for the long haul, you'll be fine.
As for where to buy, watch for a move with volume (important) off of 24.15 (right here, iow), or back down at 23.50 again.
Patience is a virtue in this market... Lord Rothschild was said to have said (in Jesse Livermore's bio) that he got rich by never getting in at the bottom or getting out at the top. He played "the safe middle."

JakeGint: Re your inquiry on BRLC, I own several thousand shares of this stock. Have been acquiring in a range from 7.20 to 7.50. There is/has been an analyst rec on it from I believe Jan saying they see it moving to 14 to 20 in the next 12 months. It has been heavily shorted recently due to an offering of additional shares to raise capital to support, for one the increase in receivables due to the sig increase in rev. I have a hunch that it has completed for a bit, its downward trend, and basing, and should continue up through earnings. Hope this gives you some insight. - Steven
