Won't you do yourselves a favor? Please buy at least 100 shares and stock it away for years. I believe it's at least the next IBM. If the story plays out as i think it will, ENER will become a 100-bagger in 10-20 years.

When you posted the ENER idea about 10min ago I bought in. Already up about .50. (bought a few more than 100 shares) :)

SINA short looks good.
As a play on ADBE, I would suggest looking at ONT.
Very risky, very volatile but they are heavilty invovled in the technology ADBE uses.
It has run substantially since Feb however, if they have finally figured out how to monetize their technoolgy, this could still be a multi-bagger.
Check it out....KNOT solar but my wife made me buy anyway. So far so good.

Man..should have bought on AVNR's dip about 15min ago. Could have captured a ~40% gain. Too risky obviously. Could be a boobie trap.
AVNR tested its high close on the 5 minute chart..."some" would say a play would be a volume move above that.

no it's alot more than that. They got the best and brightest research minds out there and have created several technologies that are years ahead of their time.
ENER reminds me very much of IBM. They both got really great researchers and they keep on creating products that other companies can license, one of which is INTC as you have alluded to.

Beanie and Gosu, what timeframe do you use for your day trading please? I am an IB platform user and I usually go with the five minute timeframe, but mostly for more than a day's swing. Is 30' or 1hr best for day trades?
Beanie, got some ENER for the long term. It may pull back in May, as it has done over the past couple of years. Will handle at that time.

Jun 5 AVNR Calls up 1250%.
My next call hopefully to go 2 in a row is NVTL $15 May calls (NVUEC).
They have upped earnings estimates 2 months in a row and report early May.
They make the EVDO cards for Verizon and Sprint.

My time frame for day trades is the time which give me profit. Thats all I care about. Every time I buy a stock for day trade, I have a profit target. If that profit target is not met, and I feel that there is loss of momentum, I jump out.
Even if there is loss of momentum, I only hold on to stocks that I have tracking each day, every moment for months. All speculative stocks, I put in a sell order as soon as I buy it.
For day trading, bracketing the order is very important. For mega caps, the stop loss is a ridiculous amount, for speculative stocks it is exactly mirror image of my profit target.

Unfortunately Options don't lose premiums in a day. It happens over a period of time. Options 101.

For those of you who wonder how AVNR will trade tomorrow,it really doesn't matter if you're a daytrader and close out eod,just remember there are great in/outs almost everyday that can be caught with AH and Pre action.
