The 200dayMA is at 3.48 . Looks like MOVI could breakout tomorrow.
Movie Gallery, like Blockbuster, had been hit hard the last year and half because of Netflix. MOVI is so much in debt now that it could go bankrupt. But i just don't think it will.
Very speculative, so play small.
Short, Intermediate to longer term play.

But Blockbuster has been doing great. The stock is up quite a bit. The newest entry in this is walmart, which is allowing digital downloads. But I don't think many people are so tech savy to be able to download movies.

MOVI is a scary deal, but the majority of the population is still wants to visit a Blockbuster or Hollywood store for their movies. Sometimes when everybody thinks that a brand name company is going bankrupt, it usually is a great time to buy. Playing small and selling 1/2 near a double is a great idea. If it plays out like i speculate it will, we get to own a business for free.
Regarding turning your trading into a business i think it's a good idea. I have a daytrader status and get to deduct expenses and get to have mark-to-market status so i don't have to worry about the wash sales rules. I have yet to turn it into a corporation but i plan to do so later, once i find out what other additional benefits i get.

Also, i dont agreee with movi..very risky and much better spec play to put ur money...but keep up the good work beenie...ur doing a great job

BIOS is doing great technically. What's coming is the 200dayMA at 4.50 that it really needs to take out in order to move higher.

AEM looks very good but a little overextended. Hey, overextention doesn't always neccessitate a correction. Great stock great company.

Beanie, do you have a price target on this? I think that this stock is all about hype -- and that timing the ride is going to be critical. Is your technical reading telling you anything right now about resistance levels, where to jump out?

I saw your post about SIGM. SIGM is expected to make 42 cents this year closing Jan 07 and about 1.1 next year closing Jan 08. They made 2 cents for quarter ending Apr 06 and 6 cents for quarter ending July 06. If they will be able to make 42 for year ending Jan 07, I am not sure, I have not really followed this company.
But, I am holding SMDI at this time and just wanted to see your opinion for the same. SMDI made only about 11 cents last year and going towards making 60 cents for 2006. Next year also yahoo shows 61 cents for Dec 2007, but I am just having a good feeling that they might do better than 70 cents.
Please provide your inputs on SMDI and I would greatly appreciate it.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I am going to buy more XNN- I really got a good feeling about this stock- could double in a short time- hopefully even before Christmas!

Be carefull with XNN. Earnings are out Dec 14. A lot of this is hype, so sell/take profits on gaps up, or at the very least, lock down profits into earnings

My read on MRVL is that it's going to go flat for a while. Contrary to what I thought last week, there's just not enough volume to justify a definitive break above 21.
I'm tempted to sell it off for a miniscule gain, and to move on to something else for a while (but to keep it on my watch list). Do you agree?

Good Morning. I'm still here as long as the market is open for business.
MRVL still looks bullish with a weak upward trend. there was some institution buying going on yesterday and all last week which is a good sign. I think MRVL is under accumulation and it should gap up once its done. I would stay in as long as the market stays bullish.
If you decide to sell it, I would look into XNN. The chart looks great. Looks like its going higher from here. A quick buck or two (I hope)

XNN - should be going higher. Remember how many shares traded that first day the stock rocked? Over 9 million (the entire float the first day)! Trust me, people are holding this stock.
ATI - a real monster. Great chart great company.
SMDI - nothing wrong with this one. Why it's still at this price is beyond me. Resistance at 9.50
DIVX - technicals have turned negative due to profit taking. Support at 50dayMA at $25.
SIGM - new highs. Hypergrowth small company. I like this stock. I see this baby going alot higher.
MRVL - i don't know when but i do know once it breaks out, nothing's gonna stop it. Patience.
MOVI - not out of the woods yet until i see it trade above 3.60 .
ATI: immediate term overbought. Due for a correction is my opinion.
I still want you folks not to be involved with too much margin. I see a possible market correction, particularly the nasdaq.
buying some (a small amount) QQQQ jan puts near the money is a good idea in my opinion.
MRVL: looks like it'll blow thru 21 today.
Where/when would be good to pick up some MRVL?

depends on whether youre daytrading XNN or holding it thru earnings. If you're daytrading, XNN should be sold at resistance 3.60

hey pam, im still in zvue....My feelings on this are that i want it to move higher...If it goes down to the low 5`s, i think i may get out....as for enpt...i dont know anything aobut it...prob will rebound in a few days but i wouldnt be in it for an investment untill it got to 15$....Brett
hey pam...if ur in this to make little money, check out LFC....U can buy like 50 shares cuz it is expensive but check out the chart....If it goes up 10pts which it can easily do, not asking alot..thats a cool 500$...Get yourself a plasma (oliva or Slavana) made by BRLC for that price....Brett

I think IDEV is headed higher intermediate to longer term no matter what tomorrow's earnings bring.
MOVI is proof positive that Beanie is in the know.
Why does RNIN dump in the last hour, seems to happening every day since it opened. From 6.80 to 6.0
But seems to have same behaviour as RVBD and DIVX until they started moving up. Beanie keep the picks coming. Finally it is fun to play the market. Somebody is going to name thier child "beanie"
