The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. It looks like the market wants to go down and will likely do so tomorrow. So if you got good profits on your daya or swing trades, it's time to take some off the table.

Just my take.

XNN is a better stock for day-trading, can't you "feel" the momentun going? After hours it went up a bit. I really hope it continues to go up at least for a few days, then we can all cash-in. Good luck to all!

Beanie,
Is it time to consider Oil & Gas Stocks in anticipation of higher oil in the near future?

Wed Dec 06, 08:34:00 PM EST
Anonymous Anonymous said...

OIL/GAS I agree. I have been trading in only 2 since the decline, TGC and OMNI. OMNI is one that takes a variety of benifits from the oil rush. Seismic Drilling and Environmental Services and offers rental equipment and specialized environmental services principally to drilling contractors operating in the Gulf of Mexico.I believe Navillier likes this one for those reasons. TGC is a penny play that has support at .70 and bounces to 1.00. It has been one of my strongest consistant earners for me.

The point for me is to keep my foot in the water so that when the wave of increasing oil stocks begins again (Bush and his WAR President mentality) I have a ground floor position.

brett,

don't worry. I've been tracking DTV (Direct TV). Great company great stock. I will recommend it soon. But most of you folks probably won't play it because it's a big stock. I like DTV just as much as i like MRVL. DTV is also alot safer than MRVL.

Deal Or No Deal?

Another one of the biggest fool on the planet! Where did they get these contestants (and their families) from? And the audience seems like they have an IQ of 25.

She did so well at the beginning, reaching a high offer of $195,000 . This moron went all the way (again, without considering RISK) until she ended up with $500. What a freakin fool!!! Don't you folks trade the markets like her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People need to understand what "probability" really means. Even if you have the higher probability of winning, if you put too much at risk, you can get screwed especially if you only get one chance at it!

neil,

DirectTV has only 2 main competitors, Dish and Comcast. DTV has more customers than Dish. Comcast Cable, which i have at my home, suck big time and i plan to switch to DTV.

DTV has 180 channels for a price under $60. It has about 30 or more high definition channels.

MRVL has many competitors, one of which is the bigger BRCM. I can "see" DTV and i understand its business. It has a simple way of making money - by subscribers - and it has a recurrent revenue stream (subscribers pay monthly). I can't "see" what MRVL does and i don't exactly know how it makes its money, and it doesn't really have a recurrent revenue stream.

All in all, DTV is definately a safer bet than MRVL. imho
