The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. CREE en feugo!
Zee closed out, I hope.
DELL:
is a sell the gap.
BRLC finally bottoming here at $6?
Keep a weather eye out, maties.
DNDN seems to have found some support at the old May 9th "high" of $8.... let's see if she holds on low volume (relatively) here.
Alok, TSL free falling, maybe entry price soon.
FWLT:
staying above 100 is very bullish short term.
die dndn die!
Lane,
Are you short DNDN?
I'd say that's not a very decent risk-reward play, given the already huge short position and the possibility of a takeout....
Full disclosure:
I'm out of DNDN now, but if it holds eight here, I'll probably get at least a little back for next week.
QID at 46.15 looks tempting
Nasdaq itsy bitsy overbought.
Shorted DELL earlier this morning at 27.80.
Also, those LIZ calls looking good. Thanks for the rec who ever that was.
MAN! The steel sector is going GONGBUSTERS!!
Mittal probably pretty soon may be the richest guy in the world.
He is at 40 billion dollars. Gates is at 55.
What was the index you guys were touting for steel again?
ETF, whatever?
Steel sector ETF - SLX
Hey Beanie, whats the story on NYX now? Should we hold it, dump it, buy more? Thanks

andy,
if NYX looks like it's gonna close below 83.53 then you would probably want to get out for the time being.
Alternatively, i would wait till a morning rise on Monday to sell it.
MED:
this stock keeps on going higher. Something must be up.
SILC to $30!
NYX:
if it closes above 83.53, you should be in because it will go higher next week.
TSL really tanked, it seems to have bottomed for the day, but next support is at 40ish, dont know if it will hit that before rising. cant decide what to do right now.
I will wait on TSL, see if it goes down more next week, 42 is support for today it seems, seems a bit oversold to me though, considering the 2nd offering is 45 it shouldnt stay too far from that?
Buying NTAP 27.5 call 3.30 , i think ntap down in smpathy to ELX...downside ntap decides to test 11 price channel at 29....at 29 = 90/10 y
And Bought Gas june 45 call 1.90 ...downside i don’t see any,,, i think eps is strong enough to test new yearly high , soon
Jake, im taking my put cues from you, i got out cree puts yesterday, just like you said to do. Thanks zee
arun you are very welcome, (liz)

Damn TSL is keepin' my STP peeps down.
Absorb that liquidity, market!
I have talked previously about owning gold and silver at certain times. I think this might be one of those times.
I bought some GG today at $24.38, and I tried to buy some SLV but missed my purchase price.
I will try again Monday. Also looking at SLW, which is GG's silver sister.
GTRC buyout coming

Jake, I'm short on DNDN, just scalping a little from a day trade here. Might open a short again next week. Need nerves of steel to hold a short position in DNDN lol...
Also long STP, NYX and nov komg calls...though I'm starting to suspect possible false bottoms on the first two.
guys,
been a beanie fan for a while, but always as a reader and not a poster. so i decided to post a couple of swing-trade plays starting monday (6/4) thru friday (6/15):
1. DNDN - going to pop before dropping again. look at the call volume vs put volume last 3 days- not the open interest because open interest is always skewed to one side or the other- but when you get a sudden burst of call buying by the big boys/smart money above its current price even with only 10 trading days before expiration (the last 3 days there have been 350000 calls and 100000 puts bought), you know there's positive news coming before options expiry.
2. AAPL - getting ready to move get the june 125 and 130s will go past before they expire.
3. HDY - speculative play at $2.50 but has the potential for a mighty 15-20 bagger. need to do your DD on this one, but big day tuesday 6/5 when guinea makes a decision on HDY's contract provisions. this one could easily hit $50 next year if all goes well. i say buy some monday and sell the news tuesday for a short gain, or hold for long term if you can get free shares out of tuesday's transactions.
4. CRME - PR early monday AM from ACT 2 Phase 3 study. should see a small pop before it settles back again. for long termers, it has a FDA date in mid-october for a blockbuster drug (vernakalant) which is almost a shoo-in for approval.
5. ENCY - last but not the least. is at $4 now, with FDA approval on thelin on or before june 15. if approved on 6/15, you have an easy double. and if GILD gets an approvable on its competing drug (Ambi) on 6/18, it could be a 4-bagger. recap: if you egt into ENCY, do NOT sell on approval news on /15. hold for 6/19. alternative play: get in at $4 and sell at $5 before 6/15.
good luck, people. if all goes well, you'll make good $$$ over the next 2 weeks and thank me and ask me to post my intelligent opinions more. if it doesn't, catcher and gosu and jake are gonna chew me up and spit me out. either way, track these stocks just for the heck of it.

omg, FWLT is a really cheap stock, as indicated by Cramer.
$4 billion in revenues, about $370 million profits; yet market cap is only $7 billion!!! (Note that 10 years ago the market cap for FWLT reached over 50 billion)
Cramer should have made FWLT his stock of the year instead of NYX.
