I strongly think AMZN is a good candidate to short. There is not a good reason for it to go up more than 50% in one month IMO.

I only mentioned AMZN as a short is because i felt the market was really going to correct.
Looking at it now, it is still in the green or flat. But if the market keeps on going down, it will take AMZN with it.
Intermediate to longer term, i really like the stock. Huge potential.

its easy to get $4 bounce azo so today was no risk to capital if you buy the JUNE 125 call...there is absolutely zero risk to capital...AZO 90/10 entry price is 125, but i doubt it gets that low

I saw it had severe resistance at 46.
It seems clear to me that market top this cycle has come and gone, (at 13,600) just as XLE predicted it Would.) so i’m hoping for controlled downward selling pressure toward 12,900.=DIA 50 day I don’t want any down days greater than 200 in one day, as this will upset my pricing channels and percent channels...so for me it’s business as usual...buy on the dips.

Today wasn't that bad, but whats amazing is that we were up 80 and now down 80. the most irritating thing is the reason for the fall as quoted on yahoo finance is that the housing numbers were bad. i mean WTF, the inventory reduced from 8.x mths to 6 mths. how can that be taken as negative news? can't these assXXXX's come up with something better? all afternoon CNBC was touting that the housing numbers were good, but now that we have a 80 point down day, just blame it on housing, like anyone was expecting those numbers to be good.
IMO - we have a down day because of GOSU. He said the mkt would fall and it did, damn you gosu lol. now get back to your calculater and get the mkt to go up. hahaha.

i think this here’s my final word..on market direction..... the trend is your friend and the trend is down...and when the market starts correcting, it doesn’t let up, for four or five days in a row...usually...
so long positions, will only get small profits, and short positions should get huge profits...

I don't know if a trend has manifested itself yet. Alok housing being the cause is all BS. Liz Rappaport from thestreet.com has a good article on todays decline. It has to do with the bond market.
The bond market sold off on the housing news. Higher rates are an excuse for this market to sell off. How long it does so remains to be seen but I'm cautiously putting my spare cash to work on dips.

Alok.........irony of ironies housing stocks were up across the board today on the heels of this so-called "bad/good" housing news. Even Toll Brothers was up today which came out with "bad" numbers this morning.

KOMG is a piece of crap lol, just does hold, glad i didnt touch it, but it did bounce for 4 straight days before resuming its trend.

We going higher next week is more likely.
I have it on good authority, (VR Trader), that the the market will panic when the US demands that China strenthens it YAUN. This will come in the form of US tarriffs. Now here’s what I understand. Anything that threatens to raise interest rates, collapses the market. Tarriff’s raise prices, in turn, create inflation. Threat of inflation plays into Big Ben’s hand (FOMC), to go out and sink the US market. So, as chatter from Chinese tarriff’s get louder, watch for the market to panic sell.
Sell-off should stop at 13,160 and then watch for DIA, to rise to 13,800.

When everyone knows that the event will happen in this context, the selloff, then most of the time ppl try to act before others and when everyone is openly bearish then it means you have dip-buyers in waiting. I dont know how much more dip is still there but if the primary trend is up then its going to make U turn sooner. I really appreciate beanie and friends posts.
