Going down for the next 2-3 months.

The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. I don't think that would be consonant with your "snap back" rally approach.
If CRAAPL is shortable for three months, then so is the overall market.
Apple, GOOGLE and the Bank Index are leaders in this one.
That said, CRAAPL would be delicious at $109.10 or so.
Can't remember who asked, but DNDN seems to have support at $7.30 or so.
I like that corkscrew formation on INFY, Gose... lower highs higher lows... you know one thing for sure -- it's gonna pop up or down and soon.
wow FSLR =). I'm up 32% on it. wish i had taken down more shares, which is always the way it feels, heh! thanks for that one beanie!
Man, i just don't want Aapl to go down. hrmm goog down to $500... lvlt getting smacked down today...
Beanie, losing my ass in SMSI. What's your current opinion? I bought at 20 and change on your recommendation.
Hi Beanie, Jake, Joe and ANON,
Been there with trades like you have with SMSI...Man, did that stock make it over 21.00?
Chalk it up to the fricking market or maybe the good people like Catcher in the Rye will give you feedback,LOL, still liking DNDN...take the loss and move on or wait till news, earnings, Beanie make suggestion.
I hate THE HOUSE OF PAIN!!!! Anyway, playing with GNBT, has some volume, fun...hit high of 2.14 today...in below 2.00
Pamfla
if only TSL and STP would follow FSLR, I'd be happy.
I think AAPL will hit 110 in the short term, but long term going to 140s
Shorts got no gonads.
Bunch of idiots and scare mongers!
Anon, maybe if Gosu see's your post he'll give his opinion. Frankly, Beanie hasn't been all that great with his picks but Gosu, WOW! he knows he stuff.
Ted
I still believe solar is the best place to be right now and the next several years.
anon,
SMSI has essentially bottomed here.
The list i gave ya off all the stocks i said have bottomed, that's a good list to buy your stocks.
IT"S ALL ABOUT SOLAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
And don't ya ever forget it!!!
Don't let the scare mongers scare you out of solar stocks!!!!!!
Bastids! lol

SRI,
re:smsi,
I don't know anything about the fundamentals of the company just looking at the chart.
It all depends how long your holding for, short or long term,
I think the chart looks bad, short term. Wide ranging day reversal, indicators goin neg.[money flow, macd] BUT the volume shows accumulation, seems weird but in my opinion this thing sees the lower trend line @ $14.25-$14.50 or so, barring some breaking news or earnings, then see if it'll bounce up off it again.
if it broke below that lower trendline Id be real worried then, long drop from there. @$12 -$10 range, but its just my take, check out the chart and draw your conclusions. have jakey do his fibs, either way you lay the fibs can put you @ $14.27 and $12.20, depending on what you call the top,

good luck tho

I'd say your close to a short term bottom tho, Somewhere @ $12 is strong support. a break of that and I'd be sellin if I was you. All said, you may get a bounce soon depending on market, but all i think is a BOUNCE. the chart looks topped. IMO
just my opinion tho. And word of advice, use sell stops in the future to save your $$$$$$$
Thank you Catcher!
DEPO --
The CFO just exercised his options (filed yesterday)...at - get this - 5.25/shr. The current trading price for DEPO is 4.44/shr!!
The options were due to expire this week - 6/16/07 -
so...
I hope the CFO has a better finance sense for the company...unless there is something really strange going to happen..
The most rational decision would be let the options expire, go worthless instead of paying a 20% premium on it...
unless this guy is so confid that the shr prices will go much higher so his exercise will be in the money..
Because of the imminent data release nature of the Gabapentin GR phase III (July), the window for trades are likely be closed here...maybe with the exception of the options..
Only a few occasions I notice bios execs exercise options and not flipping them immediately...one of the most glaring example was Nitromed - a bunch of insiders exercised the options (priced at 1 to 2 bucks) in late June - even into early July - BiDil phase III data out on 7/19 - stk went from 6 bucks to 16 upon data release..
But never ever had I seen one exercise an out-of-money options ahead of the data release...
very strange..
West
That is weird, for sure. Of course, most execs "flip" their options because they have an immediate tax bill when they exercise in the money options.
But what's odd about this guy's options is.... why not just buy the common at the 20% lower price??
Unless he's somehow restricted in doing that, because of the earnings call window?
Very, very unusual.
Do you have a link, btw?
M
Thank you for your response on HDY. Today's news about the Company top brass's meeting with the Guinean PM did take the price to $3.15 before sliding again. Let us see where it goes in the next few days.
CMS
hey, maybe i called the big rally a 2 days too early but hey at least it came.
Board,
Got fricking played again....
GNBT down in pm CRAP ???%%%%####
Pamfla
Pam,
Relax. You're in under $2 right?
These things are not for the faint of heart, but the chart looks pretty decent here. All that volume means something...
Where's this hideous p.o.s. NYX going? Still holding this dogdoo.
MSTR i predicted $90 back in april may
http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/Favorites.CServlet?obj=ID2316513&cmd=show[s107201494]&disp=O
but 91.7 thru 92.8 looks good enough...buying July 90 or 95 call..= 80/20..and if you bought my LIZ recommendation, last month... then you are aware, of how slow that went...but look at the profits that generated....Same goes for for my Gas july 45 calls, which at 0.60...i bought more ...and added july 40 calls
zee..
Hi JAKE,
I've had a SHITTTY day...Thanks you for your support...1.98 to be exact...Your the best...up in aftermarket ...YEA!!! News waiting for FDA approval or Not!!!

I hope none of you still hold any BRLC, unless you bought it after hours today.
Looks like they got Shang-hied by an arsewhole analyst from CE Unterberg Towbin (I've had friends who worked there, it's not a bad firm, but not exactly pristing in it's stock calls, either). He "reported" on a rumor that they were "de-committing" from Circuit City, and the stock dropped more n' a buck (on top of last couple of days getting killed, it's been bad for holders).
What seems silly is that if they are "de-committing" from CC (which may or may not be true) it would be for one purpose only:
To "commit" to Best Buy. Look for some serious boomerang action on this sucker, but wait for the confirm....
