The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns.
I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. I want to kick myself. I could have gotten all of you in those oct calls @.15 this morning. That was the exact stock i wrote down on my calender that i would be posting about this morning. Brain fog.
Sorry
NUAN is not currently profitable but its revenue growth is tremendous. I expect NUAN to be profitable eventually.
If you believe that voice activated cell phones will eventually be ubiquitous as i do, then you might want to own some for the longer term.
beanie..any thughts on TIE and ATI? are they buy here? would like to know targets if you have any?
anonymous,
TIE and ATI looks really good. hold them. Potential to retest highs if the big dogs move back into commodities.
i hope you picked up some SMSI on the dip.
are they worth buying here? ati and tie i meant..
anonymous,
I think ATI is short term overbought. But both ATI and TIE appears like a good buy. However, i dont like commodities and they can change on you on flip of a dime.
no position here.
NUAN: Traders don't see it yet but the LG deal is very bid for NUAN, imo.
LG Electronics is a huge electronics conglomerate.
SMSI is leaving with or without YOU!!!!
pamfla,
please tell me you bought SMSI on this morning's dip.
Fed Minutes indicate hawkish view, sending stocks lower. Also, Thursdays tend not to be great days. Double jeopardy.
Trade with caution
AKAM: good short
AKAM probably will bounce to 51.5 area, where the shorts will get in again
PLEASE GET OFF ALL MARGIN.
I was worried for a moment there, but i do like the way the market closed.
hi beanie,
what do you think of:
BVX and
SIGM
charles kirk (kirkreport.com)bought them at 7.50 and 15.20...over 30% gain for 1 day, not bad....just wondering what your thoughts were....
thanks,
mark
pamfla,
don't worry about SMSI. It broke thru support at 17. I think it will probably go down tomorrow morning to fill the gap in the high 15's. Buy the dip for a daytrade, while holding core position. Remember that our purpose for buying SMSI was to hold it thru earnings in a few weeks.
anonymous,
BVX and SIGM both look very good technically.
pamfla,
I am hearing that SMSI will have earnings the last week of october.
Basically, you can buy more on dips and sell them (not the core position) on rises.
