The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. wifi SMSI !!!!

I highly recommend owning some SMSI, before earnings in a few weeks. It is trading at 52 week high.

SMSI is now popularized by their partnership with Verizon Wireless to sell Essential Music Kits to cell phone users that allow for the download of music. All indications are, the Chocolate phone is selling really well. The only problem is that Verizon is their only main customer for the music kits. But that should change soon.

SMSI sells many types of software, including fax, compression, and wifi.

Intermediate to longer term play.

hey, DIVX could get a $4 move today. I'm not saying i am confident about that but i'd say we're on our way to retest the 25 level this or next week.

hey, it's a little late to buy SWAT. Don't you go crazy here. There's no news yet to support this run. But then again, it now has a life of its own because of the low float. Buying begets more buying, but i wouldnt be caught dead buying the stock here when the selling starts.

pamfla,

so mudblood from the street.com wrote an article casting suspicion on management. The chart is now broken, at least for the short term.

So don't buy anymore. I wouldn't. Not yet anyways. When traders get scared the first thing they do is to jump ship and wait for the mess to die down a bit.

I am waiting with them. I think i'll get back in if $8 gets taken out.

SMSI: If it closes above 16.70, you probably really want to be in it.

The price went up a little bit after market to 7.20 but down .89 at close.
IF I were you, you should dump DVAX
tomorrow. Looks like the article will have some people rethinking about their position in this stock. I was going to buy some a few days ago, but I reconsider because it's just too high for me.

DVAX should be ok in time. Whoever put out that stupid article probably has an agenda.

There is nothing wrong with their financing. It's typical with many companies that are not profitable. We've seen it with NVAX when it was at $4, which eventually went to $8. We have seen many stocks like this.

But whenever some organization puts on a negative slant on a company, it usually changes sentiment for awhile resulting in a consolidation period. Traders don't usually like negative articles. They sell and ask questions later.

Regardless, i still believe DVAX will eventually see $10 .

SMSI was recommended one time already:

Man, my alarm didn't ring and i just woke up!

Sorry. The stock i said i would be bullish about today is SMSI. Investors initially reacted negatively to the shelf offering by dropping the stock $1, but then rebounded almost entirely 2 days ago. Yesterday it gained about 60 cents. Altogether the chart looks very good.

SMSI @ 13.76

Earnings could take the stock higher. Intermediate/longer term play.]
