The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. What do you think about DVAX, Looks to me like a great company with alot of potential, but alot of negitive press right now. Is it time to pick up some more or hold out for a few days?

i think DVAX is a good buy here near the mid 6 . But i rather buy it once it closes the gap at the 5's . Alternatively, i would love to buy it once it trades above 8.

AMKR @ 7.20 looks good right now. The reason is that the inital gap up several days ago did NOT end up correcting.

the only $10+ low float stock i like is SMSI.
Medium float, i like DIVX.
Large float, i like GOOG, GS, SHLD, NWS

i hope you're not margined to the max with those SMSI shares!
While i believe the Nov 1 earnings will be a blockbuster, we never know what the big boys are gonna do to the stock.
If you're more than 50% margined, please take some off the table as we get near Nov 1.
We may selloff a little on the beige book data 2 hours from now.
Not a good idea to add anything at this time.

by the way, a respected money manager claims that SMSI could be a 10-bagger.

in the event SMSI trades above 20 by Nov, you may keep all your shares if you wanted to. That should give you at least a $3 leeway if the stock tanks. (I am assuming you don't buy any SMSI above 17)
GOOG + YouTube = a possible windfall for DIVX.
DIVX: i am confident that it will retest 25 soon
Retail and Technology stocks are the places to be.
NUAN: It's a good buy still for an intermediate and longer term hold.
pamfla, this is not for you. Stick with SMSI.

anyway you play it is fine by me. Just remember not to hold your losers too long and take profits too soon, 'cause that's the best way to the poor house. If you take quick profits you should also take quick losses.

I guess it could be, but note that if they have blockbuster earnings the stock will likely gap up 20-30% the morning after and continue to run into year end and all of next year.
