The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. Remember to 'refresh' the home page and the "Comments" pages frequently in order to receive updated posts. Let's rock!

IIP insiders buys 50000 yesterday
PTSC:
Congrats! The stock is very tradable. Buy more on all dips and sell it back to them! lol
I believe PTSC should retest the 52 week high by end of summer, if not sooner.
PTSC:
When you get your double, you sell 1/2 and ride the rest for free. You ride it and let the story play out. Could be months or years.

OOustlerOO,
I personally dont really like online retailing stocks. Not very exciting, but i believe ECST is headed higher.
OBDP:
Ok, we got about 1.5 weeks left before we dump it if it doesnt move. From today on, you have to decide for yourself when you plan to get out. Could be today, could be next week. If you have the money and the time, you can hold on to it for months and wait. Not gonna mention the stock anymore.
INCX:
It really wants to break out. We'll see.
PTSC:
You and i know that it will retest the 52 week high. So don't be fearful to buy on dips or down days.
IIJI:
Gap filled!
IIJI:
Be viligant right here.

BRVO:
Nice eh? Got milk?

We entered a swing trade just now. Really wants to fly.
GOOG:

IIJI:
I am already out, temporarily
IIJI:
Should have decent support here and at 10. I get the feeling that it will break 11 this afternoon.

81nightshade,
You should have sold 30 minutes after the market opened! If a stock is strong, it usually either gaps up huge or it gaps up small and runs the first 30 minutes. After that, most traders usually sell. It is kinda too late to sell now.
Nick,
It was good news, but not really something we dont know already. More or less it is old news. Traders gotta make a living....lol
Traders should be buying now..
ECST:
I expect it to takeoff tomorrow or next day after that, as long as $5 (high $4's) hold.
LLLI:
If it gaps down one more time tomorrow, we will buy it.
WTSLA:
Doing just fine. Longer term hold. Remember to sell 1/2 at a double. Not a fast mover, but i am almost certain it will get to $10 and then to the 20-30's.
TREN:
Moving up again today. Hold for a swing trade.
IIJI:
Looking great. Should break 11 today.
ECST:
Forming an intraday head and shoulders. Be vigilant.
PTSC:
Always remember that when a stock gaps up 3 consecutive days, traders usually sell on the third day.
PTSC:
Do you have the guts to buy it soon? lol
PTSC:
Screaming bottome!!!!!
jmho
PTSC:
Could they be this scared?
PTSC:
looking negative still. Even the bounce didnt help.
PTSC:
It bottomed, and confirmed.
PTSC:
Yeah baby! The sellers at .13 and below won't even know what hit them! lol
VPHM:
flying! It's a $10 stock.
theKookBook,
HISC 50 million shares buyback is nice, but not much more than the 450 million shares that were bought back weeks ago.
Stock is still consolidating
UALAQ:
Moving along nicely. Should continue to go higher. $5 initial target.
I am already out most of my stocks. The market could end up negative today. We'll see...
Mr. Market:
Not a good close at all. The QQQQ broke down. The Nasdaq broke 2070 (which was support for the whole week). Given everything else being equal (lol), mr. market will likely continue down tomorrow morning, at least.
OOustlerOO,
beaniestocks
beanietrader
either one is fine. thnks
Ok folks,
The market looks like it may be ready for a correction tomorrow. After the first 30 minutes after the market opens, if you see the indexes trade at the low, it means we gonna go down the whole day most likely. If that is the case, consider leaving most of your stocks. You can always buy them back later. (And you get them back cheaper too!)
I don't know what's gonna happen to otcbb stocks like PTSC tomorrow. But if PTSC doesn't get some sort of good news tomorrow, the path of least resistance is down. We caught the bottom today (i meant today, not the absolute bottom!) and made a profitable daytrade after the dip. If PTSC has a hard time going higher tomorrow, you might want to sell it temporarily (if you are quick) and buy back later.
Note to new traders: If and whenever a stock looks weak, go ahead and pull the trigger and sell it. (If you still like the stocks, you can always buy them back later). You guys need to be able to read simple charts like the 5-day charts. It will help guide you.
If you are holding a stock for a position trade of several weeks, and you see the stock acting weak go ahead and sell it! You can buy it back at a lower price if you still like the stock. Saves you money. Got it? For example, today do you see what happened to PTSC? Do you see the high volume sell off after the gap up? Holy cow, you should not be watching like a deer hit by headlights! You see everybody sell, you sell! Then you buy back while the last of everybody else dives into the deep end! lol
Argus,
I have been mentioning JSDA since $5. It's a slow mover, but the way things are looking, it could start to accelerate when it hits $10. The next HANS? lol
You guys want to invest? Invest some in JSDA.
81nightshades,
Your post:
"
I am curious from the more experienced people here like Beanie. What are realistic expectations from swing/day trading? You win some and lose some, but who here has done really well for themselves over a year+ period? I assume there are those individuals, but I'm just curious to hear anyone who wants to share about what made them most successful in trading. "
All i can tell you right now, for starters, is all of you guys should learn how to read a chart. Just a simple aspects of it will go a long way. You dont need to be a diehard technical analyst! You don't need to know all the chart indicators. But you do need to read a chart - from 1 day to 5 days, etc. Knowing where supports and resistances points are, even roughly, can make all the difference in the world.
Daytrading in its purest form (being all cash by the end of the day) is very difficult thing to do. So don't just daytrade. You got to swingtrade, positiontrade, and invest. You combine all of them. You got to have a plan with your trading. You got to create a system of your own. Believe me, I do know a little bit of what i am talking about. My return on my portfolio last year was about 400-500% (thanks to the spectacular year end run), not to brag. I have a goal of trying to beat my idol, but not there yet. lol
roger out.......
OOustlerOO,
I will try to email you tomorrow. thanks. :)
