The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. Yes you can short stocks below $5. It's just that most brokerage firms like etrade, ameritrade, etc wont let you do it.

As more days go by i trust the ceo (of AMRE) less and less. I emailed him last week and to this day i got no response. Additionally, if i were an aggressive CEO i would fight back what stocklemon.com said about me and my company.

I think there is a possibility that TIVO will head back to the low $6 (high $5) to fill the gap, if it closes below $7.

It's ok to buy "overvalued" stocks as long as the company has something "unique" to offer that has little or no competition. For instance, EBAY is still very overvalued. Heck, it was overvalued the day it was born!
That's why we are holding onto LLLI and OBDP and see how the story plays out. We will sell 1/2 at a double if and when it gets there.

Beanie check out Cheapest Search engine stock LOOK. GOOG FWHT ASKJ INSP all on fire, this one lagging has 60 Million cash and trading at cash level. i thibk 20 days Moving average is .65 may see 70+ .

LOOK= Breakout here is a close over the 20-day EMA at $0.65.
LOOK is trading just above cash value ($62m cash with a $1m a qtr cash
burn) and with GOOG and now FWHT lighting up traders may look for other
beaten down search stocks. LOOK has been dead money all year with no
bounces, an unusual thing for this stock. With the major indices looking
to cool off here a little action may finally move into penny stocks. With
a one month flat base in a tight range of $0.60-65 LOOK may finally be
ready for a bounce.

I pick them as they come, but usually not before the previous recommendation has met our targets. So we are waiting and trading LLLI and OBDP for the time being until they hit our target of at least a double.
TREN:
I have been watching this stock since $1, and to this day, i haven't a clue why it has such high volume. The iceman has alot of faith in this stock, yet he has not mentioned why he thinks it could be a $15 stock within a year.
I will keep it on radar, and if it busts the $2.03 resistance, i may take a position on play of the technicals.

LLLI has a product that is unique, and is now being carried by a very prominent distributor. Product should be out within the next 1-3 months. So we are playing it for a possible run, even before we hear how the product does in the market.
The volume is certainly there. A very tradable stock. We trade it and we hold shares as well.
as i said LOOK closed above .65 good sign didn't pump at all. i think if there a fundamentally nice pick out there we need to share it with each other. have a good weekend all.

I've seen TREN on too many watch lists and buy lists in the last week so it fell from my interest list on that reason alone. Plus I don't like coal bed methane much, high cost of production...

I like all four of those stocks, in a technicals sense. I personally don't find 3 of them having an exciting story. But i like RIMG; which i had bought it at $1 in 1997. LOL

Looks like the $47 million refund is the only thing that is causing the gap. The company still loses over $40 million a year. Float is about 280 million shares.
The technicals indicate that ETS may have bottomed. We'll keep an eye on it.

I asked her this weekend what she thinks about the future of ebay consignement stores popping up everywhere and i asked her whether she would purchase a non-lethal gun (by LLLI).
Having sold her own personal items on ebay, she feels that consignment stores could become big if in addition to taking walk-ins, they must work with other businesses (i.e., art galleries, bookstores, etc) to have a continuous supply of items to sell. I believe OBDP already knows this (as they are currently working with other businesses), and in their franchise packages they probably include marketing ideas to local businesses.
What about owning a Lamperd non-lethal gun? Wifey says she wouldn't buy a real gun nor a taser, but if such a non-lethal gun exists for civilians (she wants the machine gun version....lol) then she would likely purchase them. The wife approves!

I mentioned CIEN for a longer term hold. With respect to earnings announcements, you never really know what will happen. Earnings could be good and the stock price can go either up or down. Earnings can be bad and the stock price can either go up or down.
Whatever happens to CIEN this earnings, i think everything will be ok several months down the line.
For safety, you can sell before earnings, and buy back after hours if the stock doesn't tank.

I want you all to really really really look into LLLI as an investment (or longer term trading hold)! Here's why, besides all the previous whys:
Take a look at Stinger Systems (STIY.pk). With about 15 million shares outstanding, the stock when to as high as $46 this year on stun gun hype alone. If you multiply those two numbers, you get a market cap of about 1.4 billion! This is on just hype!
Darn it, if LLLI were to trade at 1.5 billion market cap, it could be a $30 stock, if it were to shadow STIY's hype!!!! Imagine that, a $30 stock based on hype alone. What if LLLI is the real thing, which i happen to think it is?
Think about it, before you dismiss LLLI too easily.

Anyone of you guys own TASR, keep it. It will do just fine. I am posting over there and just having fun with those guys about the safety issues of taser guns. Tasers aren't going away anytime soon. At some point i may purchase the stock.

The stock was called as a *beanie alert* around $3.70 . I believe the stock still has more room to run for the next 2 weeks. Take 1/2 near a double and ride the rest. I would not be surprised if the stock hits $10 within 2 weeks.

Remember that the latest PR indicated there would be franchise revenues within the next 7 business days, if i remembered correct. Be sure you are in the stock before the news hits the fan.

I have been researching this whole weekend, looking for a cheap stock that i believe has a huge potential in the future. I believe that it could be a 10-bagger within less than 2 years. So this one is not gonna be like the 'Mother of All Rocket Rides'! I want to see how it trades on Monday morning before recommending it. I may or may not call it.
Please try NOT to throw away your OBDP or LLLI or any other stocks we've called just to buy this next recommendation, because for all you know, OBDP & LLLI may go up alot faster than Recommendation #7! If you have extra cash, then consider buying it, and if you don't have extra cash, let this one go! Ok? I do not believe it will be a fast mover. In fact, i think it will move slower than OBDP and LLLI.
It will be called a few minutes after the market opens, if i am gonna call it. I am actually very excited about the longer term than the short term of this company.
