The last few years have been great to me, as i was able to clobber the S&P500 many times in returns. But of course, you can't make a living trading the markets if you don't make great great returns. I'll try to give my readers trades that i think will make them money. However, you need to have money management skills, in order not to lose everything on a greedy or stupid trade. I may or may not already be in the trades i recommend. I may or may not trade the stocks i recommend. Due diligence is required on your part and the usual disclaimer that i am not responsible for your losses always apply. I have no affiliations with any broker/dealer and all posts are for educational purposes only. Note that i went in LEXR this morning premarket in the mid $5's.
I use scottrade to trade stocks. Just wondering if you recommend something else. Thanks a lot for your input.
I do not recommend scottrade for trading. I don't think they offer premarket and aftermarkets trading. That's bad, if you are a trader (both day or swing)!
Think about switching to Ameritrade or Etrade. I think Ameritrade is cheaper than Etrade. I am not sure if Ameritrade offers pinksheets trading. (I don't recommend buying pinksheets anyways..lol). Ameritrade is good enough for most of your needs.
Why is premarket important? Well, it allow me to buy LEXR at the mid $5's before the market opened!
Why is aftermarkets important? Well, it allowed me to get out of GIGA yesterday late afternoon after the market closed! It also allow people to buy LEXR yesterday after market close when the press release hit the fan.
Scottrade, if they don't offer premarkets or aftermarkets, you need to change to another broker. Period. I recommend Ameritrade for the new traders.
