I am hoping this oil/natural gas outfit opens below $88 so we get a chance to buy the July 90 (for the brave) or 85 option calls once it takes out $88. Beginner option traders should buy the Aug calls instead. Alternatively, go buy the stock.
A break above 88 obviously takes it to 100 and then beyond.

july 85 calls is what i will be looking at Thursday. For every $1 move up the stock goes, the calls also go up $1.

I tried very hard to find the answer to the question below but I have not been able to.
My account has less than 25K, so I am limited to 3 day trades per 5 rolling days..... So lets say I do 1 daytrade on each of the following days; Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. On what day can I perform another daytrade? Friday, Monday, or Tuesday?

I think on Tuesday you will be able to make another day trade. If you're with Interactive Brokers then you can find out how many daytrading days you have left the Margin panel

You will be able to trade again on tuesday. Be aware that not all brokers are like IB. They will let you trade on Friday also but the next day you will be marked as a pattern day trader and you will have a cash account till it becomes above 25K again.

the rules say 5 consecutive days. So i reckon if you daytrade mon , tue, wed, your next daytrade can be made the following monday. Call broker to be sure.

Ok, thanks for those with serious attempts. I will call my broker (Schwab) to be sure. I did see that IB has a feature that keeps a real-time counter of day trades left. You would think Schwab could do something similar. Or at least warn or prevent you from making a daytrade over the limit. An account freeze would totally screw me up.

The "freeze" is not set in stone. If you call them nicely then can undo the daytrader flag. Not all brokers do it but some do.
Yeah you should be able to day trade on Friday and not Tuesday like Beanie said.

RSI in NTRI is below 50, so any buys now are strong...there is a great chance of a short squeeze in NTRI, I expect 80-85 post earnings..
ISRG will go to 200, but i bought at 148 and sold just now at 167...
FCSX has retreated back to 60 because of options expiration tomorrow...i will load the august 60 and 65 calls tomorrow too...I expect 67 by end July...

i have a question about IB. What does buying power mean. It shows about 4x the amount of money that I put into the account. I can use this money for a daytrade but does it charge me? What do they get out of me using so much of there money???
as long as you don't use more than your equity overnight, u can use 4x ur money to daytrade.
its a neutral proposition to brokers. it's really considered "their money." it doesn't cost them a penny to give u the leverage.
everyone with at least 25K in an account gets 4x equity
things get complicated when u have overnight positions

if u dont have more than 25K in ur account, u can only do 4 daytrades a week
do more and you get a violation
trading is near impossible with less than 25K. when i first began, i tried it and it was impossible
