I dunno which direction the stock will go after earnings but i own some August calls. Not alot, just some. It's an all or nothing play, nevertheless. It's best to own the stock rather than the option if you believe in the long term potential of this company, which i do.

if you doubt this NYX move, just sit and wait till it takes out 80.60 or 81 . That is confirmation that you shouldn't sit on the fence for too long.

Looks like the stock is about to take off.

Hey chart guys, I need some help looking at SMSI. Over the last year, there's a repeating pattern when it's reached the 17 dollar range, RSI crosses 70 and MACD reaches 1.00, it will pull back.
Looking at it now, we are at 17, but MACD is has just turned positive with plenty of room to run. So should be able to hold a few days longer?
Am I reading this right? Missing anything?

SHLD is a good buy and hold after yesterdays drop. They hinted at "property sales" in yesterdays release... afterall it's just as much a commercial realestate play as retail. Also the rumor that they might buy Macy's... they still have tons of cash. knocking their share price down only helps that $1b buy back to reduce float even further.

1) SOLF aug 15 calls @ .40 or less, is now trading @ .55
2) STP aug 40 calls @ 2.20 or less, is now trading @ 3.00
3) NYX aug 85 calls @ 2.20 is now trading @ 2.70
I regret for not telling you guys to get in NYX at $72, because i was mesmerized by some street.com dorko chartist calling for $60. Had we bought those calls when the stock price was at $72 we would surely get a 10-bagger eventually. But since we're kinda late, at the most we probably get a 5-bagger.
REDF and MNX both "The technical trader " web site picks. At least all beanies picks are original not just copied from other sites.
RIMM is a very good buy here. IT WILL RUN HARD AT AROUND THE SPLIT TIME. So the september calls are a good bet. Doesn't mean you can't buy august calls and roll it over to september later.

Near expiration, you just sell the august calls and then buy the sept calls. Big boys do that all the time.
both STP & SOLF calls have nearly doubled. more to go!
if you get near a double on the option calls, it's never a bad idea to sell 1/2.

If anyone is new to options, please read about them first online. You should only play the stock if you're new to options.
The only reason i'm buying call options at this time is because i feel those stocks will fly. Otherwise, i wouldn't because options are generally very risky.

Guys, just remember that I recommended constantly DRYS back when it was about $33ish. That was maybe 1-2 months ago. Now it trades at $53.
